AN: Sorry it's a bit short... And sorry for other things as well...
Here's chapter 41...
Alison's POV
As we all walked into the club, Ryan and Ben went straight to the bar to get drinks as Tricia and I headed towards the back of the club to a VIP section that Ben had gotten for us all.
As we sat in the booth, Tricia and I made small talk, asking each other what had gone on today. Soon enough, Ben and Ryan sat down next to us, handing us each our drinks.
That was the first round, followed by many more, and within an hour or so, Ryan and I were both in giggling fits, and couldn't even walk straight.
"I'll be right back." I said as I stood and made my way back a hall to the bathroom.
But as I walked back the hall, something at the end caught my eye. There was a group of people stood around, but that wasn't what I noticed. What they were holding was what caught my attention.
One of the guys who was stood in the group caught me looking and nodded towards me. I gave a small nod back before heading into the bathroom.
A few minutes later when I walked out, I found the guy standing up against the wall opposite me. I raised an eyebrow at him as he smirk.
He was quite a bit taller than me, maybe a bit over 6 foot tall. He was skinny, with brown hair that had quite a bit of volume. His eyes were this deep shade of green that was almost hypnotizing.
"Hello love. I'm Rory." He said as he extended his hand.
"Ali. Nice to meet you Rory." I replied with a small smile.
"I couldn't help but notice you eyeing up my product." He said as he held out a small bag containing what I could only describe as my past.
"I may have been." I replied as I looked from him to the bag.
"Well what can I interest you in?" He asked.
"That." I said eyeing the bag.
"It comes at a price." He replied.
"Name it." I said.
"50 and I'll give you enough to enjoy yourself." He said as he eyed my body up and down.
"75 and you don't mention this to anyone. I know you know who I am. So take the money, give me what I want, and never speak of it again. Got it?" I questioned.
He pulled out a slightly larger bag, handing it to me. I took 75 pounds (They are in London sooooo) out and handed it to him. He nodded his head in mutual agreement before walking off back to his group.
I placed the bag in my bag, hidden from plain view. As I returned to the both in the back of the club, Ryan wrapped his arm around me, placing a kiss on my temple.
"What took you so long?" He questioned.
"Long line." I replied with a smile, covering up what had really just happened.
As the night went on, I sat in the booth thinking about what had happened tonight. Had I really done it? Was I really about to start this stage of my life again? Was I ready to disappoint everyone again?
But I wasn't thinking about the disappointment. I wasn't thinking about the consiquences. The only thing that was going through my head at that exact moment, the only thing I cared about, was getting away from it all. I needed the escape.
And so that night when we got back to the hotel, as Ryan passed out in the bedroom, I retreated to the bathroom. Locking the door behind me, I pulled the small bag out of my purse.
As I held the bag in my hand, I leaned up against the bathroom wall, sliding down it so that I was sitting on the floor. I took in a deep breathe before opening the bag.
I poured the contents into my hand before moving them around a bit. It had been a while since I had had anything of this quality, but I knew what this would do. I knew the effects.
I needed to get away. I needed to end this. It was the easy way out, and I was about to take it...
Ben's POV
I woke up in the middle of the night, only to find that it was about 4 am. I had a gut feeling that something was wrong though. I turned to find Tricia sound asleep next to me, so I stood and walked to Ryan and Alison's room just to check on them.
Ryan was passed out on the bed, but Alison wasn't. I glanced around the room, not seeing her. But then I noticed the bathroom door was shut, but the light was on. I walked over and went to turn the handle, but it was locked.
I knocked, "Ali? Are you in there?" I questioned, but didn't get an answer.
"Ali? Is everything okay?" I asked again. Still no reply.
"Shit." I said under my breath, "Ryan! Wake up!" I yelled at him.
He stirred in the bed before quickly standing up, only to fall back again. He was still hammered. Great.
"What is it?" He questioned as he stood again, just not as fast this time.
"Alison is in the bathroom. The door is locked. And she isn't answering me. I think something is wrong. I woke up with a bad feeling." I replied.
"Well what are you waiting for then?" He questioned as he gestured towards the door.
And with that, together, Ryan and I got the door open, only to find a sight I knew was going to be bad.
"No." I said under my breath as I looked down at her.
"Did she..." Ryan began.
"No this can't be. How?" I questioned in disbelief.
I rushed to her side and pulled her onto my lap. She was breathing but only faintly. I began to panic as I looked up at Ryan.
"Go get Tricia up. Hurry." I said quickly.
Ryan rushed out of the room and soon returned with Tricia. She quickly left again and got dressed, telling Ryan to do the same. Soon they returned and Ryan took Alison from me while I went to get dressed as well.
As soon as we were all dressed, we headed downstairs, Alison in my arms. We got to the car and Tricia drove to the closest hospital.
When we got there, they rushed Alison straight into the emergency room, only to leave the three of us stood in the waiting room without a clue of what was to come in the next few hours.
"I just got her back. I can't lose her again." I said as tears began to build.
And at that moment, I couldn't help but feel this was my fault. I could've prevented this. If I had just protected her more. If I had set a good example all those years ago.
We wouldn't be here right now.
But we were.
And who knew the end would come so fast...
