"Mikey?"
"Hi-ya," I chirped as I walked into the entertainment room where Calum was sitting on the couch, rubbing his eyes and then yawning.
"H-how'd you sleep?"
I sat down next to him on the couch, feeling great. I hadn't felt that great in what seemed to be forever. I knew that he wanted me; the kiss had proved it.
And I wanted him, too.
Even though I was a bit confused, since I had never had even the slightest crush on a guy before.
"We need to talk," my heart dropped when he said it.
Had he changed his mind about me?
I was so happy, so excited, so alive. I didn't want that to all just go away.
"O-okay?" I was meaning to agree, though it had came out as more of a question than intended.

"Okay, so, I'm just going to come out with it," he looked at me, a serious look covering his features.
"I like you, um, like - a lot."
Well, I didn't expect him to say that. When he said that he wanted to talk, I expected him to claim that everything was just a mistake. That I was a mistake. That our first kiss was a mistake. That my first kiss was a mistake.
A blush burned on cheeks, "I-I like you, t-too."
"Well, I guess that we got that part out of the way."
He smiled a wide grin, me smiling along with him. I was happy again. And he liked me. And I liked him.
"B-but," I started but paused, not for sure how exactly to say it.
What?
I was scared of being gay?
Yeah, that wouldn't have been offensive at all. I figured that I needed to say it differently. Though, I just didn't know how to say it.
"Hm?"
"Um, i-it's kind of w-weird for me. I-I mean, I never thought t-that I'd like a guy."
An understanding expression crossed his face, me smiling in nervousness, yet relief.
"Trust me, I know the feeling," he sighed with a chuckle.
"I'll wait for you to get used to everything; I promise," he rubbed the pad of his thumb down my cheek, his touch nearly sending me into a frenzy.
"T-thank you," I leaned into the touch of his hand, sighing in relief. He was willing to wait for me, and that made me feel amazing.
Calum in general just made me feel amazing.
And I liked that.
"Can I kiss you, my beautiful baby?" His hand made its way down to the side of my neck, just lightly resting there. I could still feel the warmth of his previous touch on my cheek, a small chill making its way down my spine.
I blushed at the nickname, obviously not used to being called things like that.
The only pet name that I was used to was 'Mikey Poo'.
"Y-yeah," I smiled stupidly, "just t-take it slow."
He leaned forward, me leaning forward as well. My eyes fell closed just as I felt his soft lips on mine, my heart instantly jumping to a fast pace, nearly beating out my chest.
His arms slowly wrapped around my lower back as we sat on the couch, my arms finding their way around his neck, loosely clinging to the brunette. He tilted his head to the side, deepening the kiss.
As his lips worked on mine, I did my best at mimicking his movements.
I felt him suck at my bottom lip just before we pulled back from each other for air.
"W-wow," I breathed out, resting my hand on his defined bicep.
A smile played on his lips just as he quickly leaned in, pecking my lips.
"Your lips are amazing," he whispered as he pulled away.
I laughed, a blush definitely on my face.
"That was weird, wasn't it?" He asked, running a hand through his messy hair.
"Nope," I said, popping the 'p', just before I leaned in to quickly press my lips to his, pulling back before the gesture could intensify.

That day was filled with random conversation, me finding more interest in the tan boy with each thing that I had found out about him. What surprised me was that he actually took an interest in me, as well.
And there was a few more stolen kisses.
They were short and sweet; the way a lot of things are meant to be.
Though, a few hours passed - and Calum suddenly sighed after glancing at his phone.
"What is it?"
He put his phone back in his pocket, "my mum needs me for something."
"E-everything alright?"
He then rested his palm on my cheek, leaning in to kiss me. I kissed back, feeling him pull me a bit closer than before. I automatically felt my heart race, especially when he wrapped his arms around me and deepened the kiss by tilting his head. I let my arms wrap around him, feeling the way that he kissed me passionately, yet carefully.
Even though the kiss was sort of heated, he knew that I wasn't ready for tongue involvement. And I was glad for that.
I felt a weird feeling in the pit of my stomache, him then pulling away breathlessly - me still in place, sort of panting.
"Yeah, she just needs help with something," he told me with a slight laugh.
"O-okay," I smiled breathlessly.
"I'll see ya later?"
"Y-yeah, see ya."
