The next day I had Cameron and Meagan come over to help with names. "I think it would be cute if their names started with the same letter." I said. "How about Matthew and Mackenzie?" Cameron asked. "Sure." I replied. "The dead baby should be named Michael." I stated. That day we also talked about having a funeral for Michael, even though we didn't have his body, we would order a plaque and put it in my backyard.
After Meagan had to leave, Cameron put his hand on my shoulder and turned on the tv. By the end of the day he took me on a walk to our local park. We walked to the baseball area and he stopped me and said "April, I love you. You are like hitting a home run in my heart." And then we had the perfect kiss. It was magical, but I was conflicted that night. Should I still love my first true love Jay , or this new dude who is my babies father?
