I'm sorry, I was scared. I was scared that maybe I wasn't good enough. That I wasn't capable of making you happy. That you really didn't love me and it was just all in my head. I was scared. That one day you wake up and decide you hate my flaws, how the crack in my voice never fades, how my eyes don't resemble the stars, how blankly my hair falls on my face. Turns out I had every reason to be afraid, because you hated everything about me, you just loved how badly I wanted you.
