chapter fifteen

I woke up on Tuesday and threw on jeans and a tee-shirt that said angels are like unicorns real but unseen. I sprayed on some perfume and walked to school. When I got there I walked to the guys and hugged Brenna and pecked Carter's cheek. All of the sudden Carter cleared his throat and they all walked away, to my surprise Brenna and Justin walked away together. Carter turned to me and gave me a box. I opened it and inside was a smaller box then a smaller  one then a smaller box. Inside that one was a post it note that said you will find the next clue doing what you hate most. I laughed at him and walked away.
Class was actually fun today, we partnered up and the teacher gave us a scenario and we had to work through it together. When it came time for lunch I went to the gym, sure enough there was a post it note at the top of the rope. I climbed it, after several attempts I got the note. It said you will find the next clue doing something you love. I walked into the school library and checked out a book. The librarian handed me another post it note it said you will find the next clue doing something you can only do with Brenna. I walked into the lunch room and Brenna and I went and got our normal frozen yogurt. The lady handed me another post it note that said turn around. I turned around and ran smack into Carter.
''What's going on?'' I asked.
''I'm asking you to the valentines day dance with me this Saturday.''
''Carter I would love to but Brenna and I always go to school activities together so guys don't bug us.''
''Actually I was asked by Justin and I decided to go with him so you should go with him.'' Brenna said from behind me. I'd forgotten she was there.
''Ok then, yes Carter I'll go with you, but I get to pick out the costumes.''
''Deal'' he put his arm around me and we walked away.
Later after school I was trying to pick out a dress.
I was thinking as my phone buzzed. Brenna texted me.
Brenn:), guess what Justin and I decided to go to the valentines dance in... red themed suit and dress
Me, I'm still trying to pick out mine and Carter's.
Brenn:), oh
Colbilyne•-●, Nick asked me to the valentines dance and we decided to go as me in green and him in black with a green tie.
Me, great (note sarcasm)
I got back to thinking and I eventually fell asleep. 
The next morning I found Cason mumbling to himself.
''Whacha saying''
''Today I'm gonna ask Alicia Malic to the valentines dance.''
''Good for you. So you like this girl?''
''Yeah alot but I finally got the nerve to ask her out.''
''Great see ya.''
''See ya.''
Carter showed up right on time and we went to school.  When we got there we walked up to the guys
''Hey do you wanna come over?'' Colbilyne asked me.
''I would love too but I have a self defense class today. The topic is guns but next month we get to learn boxing.''
''Oh ok(?)''
''Yeah''
''Well then remind me never to get on your bad side.'' We laughed and went to class. It was pretty fun, we played around with the substitute teacher.
When the school day was over I went home and prepared for self defense class. My phone went off.
''Hello''
''Hey C.J. it's Colbilyne, can you always wear tanktops outside in February here? Or do you think it's global warming?''
''I don't own a coat. That answer your question?''
''Yeah bye''
''See ya''
The call ended and Cason drove me to my self defense class.
My teacher is a stout woman with big feet. Have you ever seen a hobbit? She is a female version of that. She can be pretty scary. She handed us each a real gun and told us to cock it. Once we all succeeded she took those and gave us nerf guns. She paired us off and told us to shoot eachother, after giving us safety glasses. She walked around giving us tips and fixing our form. After three hours of that Cason drove me home and we ate some leftovers and watched a movie. Then I crawled into bed and went off to sleep.
The next day I went to school and told Carter to wear a white suit and a purple tie. I went dress shopping after school and found the perfect dress purple fluffy lower half white sash-belt around it and a flat silky upper-half. It had one see through sleave and one strap. I got white shoes to match and went home to try the whole thing together and send pics to the girls.
