Aphmau's pov

"Take care of the princess."

I heard Katelyn say. I wanted to know what she was going to tell Garroth so I hid in the bushes and when Katelyn said that my heart felt like it stopped. Katelyn walked away and Garroth stood there looking shocked and confused. "Wait. What are you talking about!?" Garroth yelled in confusion. No, no, has he found out? I was scared. I didn't want Garroth to know that I am princess of Phoenix Drop.

Garroth frowned in confusion and ran his hand through his hair with a sigh. I stayed hidden trying to not make a sound. "Katelyn wait!" Garroth yelled and started to run after her. I sighed and stood up. I walked over to the small river and looked at my reflection. "When are you going tell him?" Aaron asked and I jumped at his sudden appearance. I looked behind me and saw Aaron leaning against a tree.

"I-I don't know Aaron.....I don't now how to tell him." I said stressed. "You should tell him soon Aphmau or it'll lead to the both of you being hurt." Aaron said before disappearing into the trees. I guess he's right but.......how will Garroth react? I splashed water onto my face and went to go look for Garroth. I found him sitting on a stump and he looked lost in though.

"Hey.......Garroth." I said nervously. Garroth looked up and his eyes met mine. He smiled and said "Hey Aphmau." "What's wrong?" I asked and Garroth looked away. "No.....it's nothing." He said shaking his head. "Well, where do you want to travel to?" I asked and Garroth thought for a minute. "Actually....I don't really know. After I left O'kh-Scaleswind, I never really though of where to go."

I shrugged my shoulders and said "I don't mind camping in the woods until we find a suitable place to stay." I nodded and he said "Yeah, that'll give us time to think about where we are going." Garroth stood up and started to pull out some stuff from his backpack and I asked "Garroth.....what did Katelyn tell you?" I knew already but I wanted to know if Garroth would actually say.

Garroth stopped but then continued getting stuff and asked "Aphmau......are you princess of Phoenix Drop?" I didn't know until Garroth stopped talking but I was holding my breath. I laughed nervously and said "Heheh......what? Where did did that come from?" Garroth looked at me and his gaze pierced right through my lie. I looked down and nodded,

Garroth stopped getting stuff out of his backpack and looked me in the eyes. I stared at him nervous and he whispered "(Heh......the girl I am running away from is the girl who is traveling with me.)" I didn't hear what he said but then he grabbed me by the shoulders and kissed me. I started blushing like crazy and I pushed away from him. "Wh-what? Why-why did you do th-that?" I stuttered and Garroth smiled at me sadly.
