Oliver's Point Of View

"Felicity," I call, "Found any leads on her?"

Sam had disappeared a little over a month ago. Last thing I remember was her getting hit by a black van, then hooded people coming out and taking her limp body. I tried to fight them. I tried so hard, but I was evidently outnumbered. I felt as though I would shutdown without her, so I have to find her. I had involved her brother in this too, and had taken the liberty to reveal my identity to Nate by bringing him down to the lair to help us.

"The tracking device I put in her shoes and clothes, it was removed and destroyed," Felicity panicked.

"Try backtracking the data," Nate suggested.

"No need," a voice called from behind us. I turned around to see the leggy brunette I fell in love with. She looked different, more hurt. She was bandaged and bruised up.

"Sam," Nate cried, running up and hugging her, "Not again. I can't lose you again."

"It's alright," she chuckled, even in her painful state.

I approached her, intentions of just hugging her but I couldn't help myself but to kiss her. Our lips made that connection and I felt that fire in my soul when I did so, not to mention my heart rate accelerating above the average human heartbeat per minute.

"Sam!," Felicity squealed, running up to her and holding her in an embrace.

"Dig," Sam smiles, hugging him after Felicity let go of her.

"Nice to see you back," he replies.

"About that...," she trails off.

"Wait, you're not staying?," I furrow my brows.

"Where's Helena?," she asks, attempting to change the topic.

Felicity chuckles, "Oliver's psycho ex is out of the picture. Forever, hopefully."

"Ex?," Sam laughs, sarcastically, "I've been gone a month. I see that the island couldn't change the Playboy completely."

"Sam—," I attempt.

"No, really, it's alright," she shakes her head, "I have to leave soon anyway."

"Leave?," Nate raises and eyebrow.

"The people that took me, the League of Assassins, they took me in so that they could use my abilities. They gave me an ultimatum: death or training. I would've chosen death, but they guaranteed the death of everyone I cared for, and that's not something I'm willing to do. I love you all so much, but I can't stay."

"I can't let you leave," Nate protests.

"Nate," she cups his face, tears in her eyes, "I don't want to leave... B-But I have to. I have a debt to pay them. This may be the last time we talk in a while."

"You can't do that to me. To us!," I argue, "You can't leave me like this."

"Ollie, you're the last person I want to leave," she grabs ahold of my hands, "I love you so much."

"How long do you have?"

"I have to leave now, I just needed to know if you were alright and to tell you that I'm alright," she sighs, "I'm alright, please just don't follow me. I don't want Ra's to resort to killing you, because that's what Ra's al-Ghul is going to make me do. Believe me, if he captures you, you're going to wish you had died."

"Is that what he did to you?," I caress her bruised face, her wincing in response.

"Don't worry about me, Ollie," she places a kiss on my cheek, "I'm alright."
