Scott's POV

I woke up in Mitch's bed, but no Mitch.

"Mitchieeee!" I whined.

After a moment, I heard footsteps coming closer.

"Hey babe!" Alex.

"Oh hey Alex. Where's Mitchie?" I ask with a childish tone, rubbing my eyes.

"He went on a date."

He what.

"He...With who?" I ask, anger seething through my teeth.

"Why are you pissed? It's his life." Alex says crossing his arms.

My face softens.

"It's just because I feel like I should know before he goes out with someone." I say gesturing for him to come forward.

"Okay, I understand, but I don't want anything happening between you both. Promise?" He asks straddling my hips.

Instead of answering, I just kissed him on the lips. Hard.

With Anger, disappointment, jealousy.

Why am I even feeling this way?

Mitch's POV

I walked to starbucks after calling Alex over to stop Scott from looking for me. He should still be there.

I walk into the room, breathing in the wonderful aroma of coffee before walking to the counter. Jessica was back.

"Hey Jessica!"

"Oh.Hi! Mitch right? I haven't seen you here in a while." Jessica gave me a wide smile.

"I just came back from tour. But I did come in last week. You weren't here, but this guy, Taylor?" I ask subtly hinting for more information.

"Oh yeah, he's my new assistant. I assume you want to talk to him?" She gives me a wink before calling him over.

I sub-consciously fix my hair and bite my lip, before giving a small wave when he looked over his shoulder and at me. He gave me a smile, wider than Jessica's and walks over.

"So... Mitch huh?" He says smiling.

"Hey."

"Hey."

Scott's POV

"So..." I trail off.

"So what?" Alex says, his attention on the TV screen.

"Did he tell you where he went?" I ask.

I really couldn't stop thinking about where Mitch went on his date.

"Okay. You know what. We are going on a date. Let's go to starbucks for some coffee and we'll go have a drive. Okay?" Alex says, giving me a small smile.

"Right sorry. I'm just really worried."

"It's fine. I chose you, and when I did, I took the whole package." Alex says giving me a light peck, before standing up to put his shoes on.

I have an amazing boyfriend.

Stop thinking about your amazing best friend.

Amazing? Hah. That's an understatement for My Mitchie.

Alex and I walked into starbucks and I instantly hear Mitch's laugh.

Who's making him laugh? Why isn't it me?

I whip my head to the side and I see him sitting there with the new barista we saw the other day. What was his name? Taylor...

"Oh... This was not a very good idea as it?" Alex said, trying to pull me to the counter. "Can we get our coffee and leave."

No.

But if I interrupt, Mitchie will be so mad...

"Okay." I sigh.

"Really?" Alex looked at me wide eyed.

"Let's get a move on." I said giving Alex a peck on the lips.

I'll talk to Mitchie later.
