Chapter 17- Sundancer

It felt like forever that we were laying there trying to conserve whatever little energy we had left. At least I didn't hate Sunpearl as much anymore. It was still tensious but not as bad as before. We were laying there, hungry and thirsty. Sunpearl was still more anxious than me but I had a lot of confidence... her... not so much. I missed Lizzie though. She was probably worried sick about where I was. Her first mother had abandoned her. I never want her to think that I would ever leave her. I guess Sunpearl could sense that I was worried.
"You okay?" She looked at me and I nodded briefly.
"How bout you?"
She smiled.
"Other than being cold, hungry, and trapped with two crazy stallions I'm good."
I laughed at her sarcasm. Maybe she wasn't that bad at all. Before we knew it, Thunder and Darkstar had returned and ordered us to our feet.
"Get up. Its time to go." Darkstar grumbled at us.
"Yeah get up." Thunder tried copying his brother.
"Shut up thunder. You aren't helping." Darkstar snapped at Thunder and the bay stopped talking.
"What do you want?" I glared at the stallions while Sunpearl stayed quiet.
"We want your herds." Darkstar walked around and started to nudge Sunpearl a little to intimately for either of our tastes. Well this was great. Two crazy stallions, both who had a fling for one of us.
"Dont touch her. And for the last time. We are not giving up our herds!" I yelled at the fresian and he came over and kicked my chest which caused me to fall down for a brief moment.
"You'd have to fight the stallions to make it fair. Only one at a time though. Otherwise it's unfair." I tried to sound convincing. I don't even know if wolf was strong enough to even try to fight off Thunder. Blaze was definitely strong enough though. As much as Wolf could be annoying, I don't want him dead either. I had a feeling it was going to happen. Either that or he was just going to surrender. The surrendering idea sounded good but that means that Thunder would take over my herd. Unless Silverblaze fought for my herd. My gut told he would but we still hadn't made up since the incident. I still loved him but hated him at the same time. I limped from being kicked as me and Sunpearl walked out into the snow behind Thunder. He was going to fight Wolf though to try to win my herd.
"If either of you try anything I will kill you in front of everyone. Is that understood?"
Thunder looked at us and we nodded. As long as Lizzie was safe I would be happy. We trudged through the snow and when we got to the cave, Lizzie immediately ran out.
"Mommy I've been so worried!" She immediately ran outside and came up to me.
Thunder gave me a warning look and I had to yell at my filly who did nothing wrong.
"Lizzie, go back inside. I'm fine." I tried to be stern because I didn't want to yell at her.
"But Mommy-"
"Lizzie go away and stay inside!" It broke my heart to see her face become sad and her head drop low as she sadly went inside.
"Go get wolf." Thunder growled at me and I did as told. I walked inside to see Lizzie crying.
I immediately went over and she wouldn't look at me.
"Lizzie, baby, it's okay,I wasn't mad I promise." I tried to comfort her.
"I'm in danger but I don't want you to be involved okay? I was being forced to yell at you I'm really sorry." I nudged her lovingly and she looked at me an nudged me in affection. I smiled and went to get wolf.
"Wolf. I was taken by this horse and he wants to fight you to win the herd or you surrender." I looked at the lazy horse.
"I surrender. I'm not wasting my time battling some stallion. I'm outta here." He walked out and I sighed in annoyance. I had to get Silverblaze.
I went to where he was and he was with pepper. My heart sank at seeing Pepper but I didn't have time.
"Silverblaze I don't care what you think of me right now but there is a stallion outside. Him and his brother took me and Sunpearl hostage. He wants the herd. You have to fight him or I lose everything." I stared at the roan and he looked at me.
"And what if I don't?"
I was furious.
"SILVERBLAZE GET YOUR STUBBORN ASS OUT THERE AND FIGHT HIM! I don't care what you think of me because I hate you but Sunpearl is going to get killed if you don't go out there. My filly is going to be abandoned again. So quit being a self conceited stallion and fight him!" I yelled at him which scared Pepper but I don't even care at this point. I got Silverblaze to follow me and he saw Thunder and sighed.
"Why can't you start your own?" Thunder became angry and looked at me.
"I told you to bring wolf!" He took his hoof and wacked my face which slowly caused me to black out just after I saw Silverblaze throw a very violent kick to the head of Thunder. I heard a thud just as my eyes closed.
