I didn't know what to say to make Sunny feel better. She had really loved Silverblaze. I'd never thought of him that way at all, sure he was my friend and co-led the herd with me but that was it. I had never truly loved somebody, and I was convinced that would never happen after all that time with Darkstar as the leader. I didn't feel right at all. I knew I wasn't healthy now though but I didn't know what was wrong either. Maybe I was slowly going insane. I couldn't believe Silverblaze just left us like that though, I thought I could trust him. If Hawkeye hadn't come nobody would've helped us. If he ever tried to come back I don't think I could trust him ever again. I didn't feel good being out in the cold. Spots danced before my eyes and I knew something was wrong. Could a horse get hypothermia? Or maybe some kind of virus? I dismissed the thought, I was just overreacting I always overreact. This time I wouldn't. I felt lightheaded. I could tell Sunny noticed something was wrong. I shook my head determined to ignore it. Sunny still looked concerned but I continued our conversation. "I won't let him be in charge if he comes back, he doesn't deserve it" I told her. "Yeah" she said sounding kinda distant. I wondered what she was thinking. I knew she really did love Silverblaze though. "If you ever decided to trust him again, then you should let him lead your herd" I told her. "I don't think I can, but you're stronger then me you're more likely to trust him again" I told her. In truth she was better then me at everything. She actually fought for what she wanted. I just ran away from my problems. The pain in my hoof seemed to intensify for some reason. Who knows what I did to it falling. I ignored it again. Sunny seemed reassured by what I'd said. "It would take a lot for anyone to trust him again" she replied to me. I'd never had anyone break my trust before. Almost like she was reading my mind she said "It's harder to forgive someone the first time. I've had my trust broken in the past by the same horse, you never have. That's what makes it harder for you". I was silent. I didn't know what had happened or where she had gone after she left the herd. Who knows what she went through. My hoof suddenly sent pain shooting up my leg. "Sunny what did I do to my foot?" I asked grimacing from the pain. I moved it but couldn't see much since I couldn't look at the bottom of my foot. Well great. I'd meant to make Sunny feel better while talking but all I seemed to do was hurt myself somehow. I needed to rest my hoof I guess. Sunny didn't answer my question but she seemed concerned. "Could you... Help me inside?" I asked awkwardly. She moved next to me letting me lean on her as we went back in. I hoped my foot recovered soon, I always seemed to be weakened by something lately. Nothing seemed to go right anymore. I sighed wishing something good could happen.
