Chapter 35: coming home

Today the boys where going home for there 3 week Christmas break, while they were away Dean was going to be putting all the clips for the new music video together so it was ready for after Christmas, and I.. I was going to spend some alone time with Brad.

"Have you boys got everything?" My mum said standing by the door as the boys carried their luggage out.

"Yes thank you so much for you hospitality Mrs Taylor" James said pecking my mother on the cheek.

"Oh it was a pleasure having you lovely boys to stay, hope you all have a wonderful Christmas" she said waving to James and Tristan as they walked over to there cab.

"Stay safe Lex" James said giving me the biggest bear hug.

"Yes dad" I said giggling into his shoulder.

"Come here lanky!" I said bringing Tristan down to my height and hugging him tightly

"Thank you for everything" I whispered into his ear and he nodded and smiled at me.

Once James and Tristan got into their cabs and drove off it was just me Connor and Brad.

"I'll meet you at the train station" I whispered into brads ear as him and Connor got into there cabs and drove to the train station.

"Well mother, I'll see you Christmas Eve, see ya Mason! Make sure your a good boy otherwise you won't get no presents!" I said grabbing him into a hug.. I was going to miss Mason and my mum but I had to get back to my apartment in Camden.

My manger Paula was here to pick me up and drop me home as she lives in Camden as well. She asked me how working with the vamps has been going and I can't help but giggle.. How is it? Well I'm finally happy with someone who cares about me.. It's fucking amazing!

"Thanks for the lift Paula, have a nice Christmas" I said giving her a hug and a kiss on the cheek.

"Hold on a second!" She said causing me to stop in my tracks and fall back into the car.

"What's up?" I ask.

"Why don't you tell me the truth lex, you know you could never lie to me.. Now come on how are you really?" She asks starring into my eyes. She's right though I haven't really been okay since Brad kissed Lillie, I guess it just made me realise he could never kiss me like that in public.

"I'm fine, seriously just a little stressed out.. You know how it is going back home" I said staring at my hands, fiddling with my rings.

"Yeah I know baby, look after yourself yeah.. Have a lovely Christmas and Alexis! ... Behave yourself lex!" She shouted as I was unlocking the door to my apartment. Ahh I've missed this place.

I quickly got changed into a pair of ripped black jeans, a striped long sleeve top, Chelsea boots and a leather jacket with my big tartan scarf and matching beanie. I walked down the road to the train station to meet Brad with my earphones in blasting Arctic Monkeys Suck it and See. I stood at the station and light up a cigarette, I looked to the left as I heard the train pulling in and saw hundreds of people rushing towards me. Being small, I couldn't really see Brad until I jumped up and saw a curly mess walking towards me lighting up a cigarette of his own.

"Brad!" I shouted and he whipped around seeing me and smiling so wide he nearly dropped his cigarette out of his mouth. I skipped toward him and wrapped my arms around his neck.

"Hello trouble" he said giving me a very friendly hug, it wasn't what I wanted but I guess because where in a public place it'll have to do.

"Come on let's get out this cold". I said leading him toward my apartment, I didn't live very far from the train station probably about 10 minute walk.

"So how did you manage to afford an apartment in Camden?" He asked flicking his cigarette on the floor.

"Well I've always loved Camden and when I got my very first pay check which was from when I worked with The Vaccines, I knew exactly what I was gonna spend it on. I bought this lovely place" I said unlocking the apartment door.

"Wow it's so different and funky in here" he sad taking his jacket off.

"Thanks it took a while for me to afford all the stuff for here cause I didn't want my mum to buy me everything , this was my first apartment I wanted everything to be owned by me" I said putting the kettle on.

"You read my mind" he said following me into the kitchen wrapping his arm around my sides and tilting his head in to kiss me as I leant against the counter top.

"It feels good to kiss and hold you whenever I want" he said squeezing my bum.

"Easy tiger, we've just got here. They'll be plenty of time for that" I said winking at him.
