There are only six of us left now. A few people are passed out in the lounge room, it's surprising that I'm not one of them. Instead I'm lying on the ground, gazing at the stars, which twinkle in the sky. I figure it's well past midnight though I can't tell for sure. Everything seems to be asleep, no birds or even crickets are sounding and all I can hear is the distant chit a chat of my friends inside.

Cayn reclines down beside me, pulling me near him so that my head now lies flat on his chest. He strokes his fingers through my ebony hair as I listen peacefully to him breath. The faint rise and fall of his chest, soothing as it helps me to relax.

"The stars are so bright tonight maybe there is magic in the air." He coos, placing his chin atop my head. "Mmm, your hair smells so nice like sweet flowers... you remind me of Lily of the valley, it is a tiny delicate flower but also deadly."

"What?" I ask, tilting my head to see him.

"You don't know what the meaning of that flower is...do you?

"No. Why?"

"It is said that—the legend of the lily of the valley is that it sprang from Eve's tears when she was kicked out of the Garden of Eden. It is also believed that this flower protects gardens from evil spirits. It also means purity of heart and sweetness." Cayn gazes down on me. "I guess it is the perfect flower for you. No wondered your mother chose to name you after it."

"Dose that mean you think I'm deadly?"

"You did break my heart and yet here I am, holding you tight and praying that you don't break me for a second time. I want to be mad at you. To protect myself but I also cant stay away."

I place a kiss upon his cheek. "I don't want to break your heart Cayn but I also don't want a relationship. I do miss you so very much though."

"I wonder if you are truly protected from all things evil." He teases, chuckling softly, making his chest shake.

"Ok guys, who is ready to do some shots?" Amy's voice rings out over us as she walked through the door with a two bottles in her hand. Levi follows her with six glasses on the tips of six of his fingers.

"What shots are we doing?" Tyler calls out.

"Well we got a little vodka and my personal fave, tequila."

"Oh we have got to start with tequila." Cayn lifts me up, grabbing my hand and dragging me towards the group.

The bottle of tequila sits between Paige and Amy. Six shot glasses are lined up in a neat row along with some lemon wedges. Carefully, so as to not spill any of the liquid, they pour a little into each glass.

Amy slides the little glasses in front of us. "Bottoms up, bitches." she says before lifting the glass to her lips and knocking back the tequila in one go. Never had I done a shot before so I decide to copy her. It is worst then the time I tried Uncle Stew's whiskey, but there is no time to contemplate the differences as Amy refills my glass. I take another shot, the liquid runs hot down my throat and I swear that I might just throw up.

"None for me please, I need to slow up for a bit." I informed them not wanting to ruin the party by vomiting all over the place.

"Awe come on Lilly, just one more, surely you're not wasted already?" Amy teased.

"I just need to drink water."

"Oh my, you really are drunk, aren't you?" she continues giggling.

"So guys I was thinking; who is up for spin the bottle?" Paige buts in, breaking the tension between us.

"Ugh" I groan squishing my nose and eyebrows together. "Aren't we just a little bit too old for that game?"
