His eyes shift to something behind me, I watch as he pulls away. Levi and Amy, Cayn's friends, suddenly jump into the booth. Causing me to spill some of my soda onto my dress. Quickly I try to mop it up as best as I can. Amy's blue eyes catch the residual stain and, I swear, there's a slight smirk on her otherwise emotionless face.

I can't help but stare at Amy; she is absolutely beautiful with her long blonde hair pulled into a high ponytail. Her short, cheerleading skirt showing off long legs, and a tight sweater which seems to catch Cayn's attention for a few seconds. Cayn's giving Levi the evil eye, clearly not impressed by this casual intrusion.

"So who invited you guys anyway? Like, don't you have any other friends?"

"None as entertaining as you." Levi shoves Cayn further over in the booth as Amy steals a French fry.

"I'm kind of busy. Here's a twenty to rack off." Cayn passes Levi a twenty, which Levi quickly pockets.

"I'm sure Lilly would like us to stay. Get to know us better and find out what awesome people we are."

I'm staring at them both, Cayn is shaking his head no. Levi's elbow lands nicely in Cayn's ribs. "No influencing the girl." I hear him say.

"Umm..." I stutter, unsure as to what to do. Amy steals another fry. I refrain from swatting her hand. I'm thankful that I am feeling better since my anxiety attack so I can let her attitude roll off me.

"You guys are scaring the poor girl." Amy chastises them before deciding to help herself to my drink.

I scowl at her. "Please, help yourself." She is too focused on the boys to hear the sarcasm in my tone. Levi notices though, I can tell by the way he looks at me.

"We're not scaring you, are we?" he asks. Amy has eaten another four fries so I push my plate closer to her. She happily takes it.

"Nope, not scary at all." I roll my eyes along with Cayn.

Levi call's over Mary, ordering some pie for both him and Amy. Cayn slumps back in the booth, we are defeated. Our time alone has passed. Amy is talking to Cayn about the up coming game. I tune them out, football isn't exactly something that excites me. By the time the pie's arrive I've drunk three cups of soda, well more like two and half if you take away what Amy help herself to.

"Excuse me," I interrupt Amy, she just looks at me blankly. "Excuse me, I need to go the bathroom."

"Oh, sure, I'll come."

She jumps out, all preppie and smiles. I suppress a groan, I hadn't invited her nor did I want to go to the bathroom with her. She takes my hand and leads me away. There are only three stalls, two are occupied.

"Are you going?" I ask pointing to the empty stall.

She chuckles. "I thought we were going to girl talk, you know without the boys, but you actually need to go. I'll wait."

I enter the stall wondering if this diner is like some portal to an alternate universe or maybe Amy had gotten hold of my meds. Amy had made it clear from day one that she didn't like me and now we were meant to girl talk, in the bathroom...yep the apocalypse had arrived.

"You going to be much longer?" There is a knocking at the door. I hurry up, feeling flustered.

"Wow, you should really hold back from the sodas."

"Yep."

"You do know Cayn is going to ask you out? I mean, he wants you to be his...exclusively." She says the word exclusively as though it's a dirty word. So much for us being buddies. I stand in front of the mirror with my mouth open, fighting back all the sarcastic comments I have running through my mind. She's a confusing girl, to say the least.
