Day light comes and goes as I spend the day waiting for Levi to arrive. He never comes. It is getting late and even Uncle Stew isn't home. He is probably working late so he can shut up shop for a few days. I want to surprise him so I make a few decorations to put around a make shift tree.

I hear the roar of an engine, my hopes rising that Levi has finally made it here. Five minute pass and there is nothing. I open the front door to find a bunch of flowers there. One dozen white roses. I smile, breathing in their perfume.

There is something not right. I stumble. The flowers smell funny, the perfume causing extreme dizziness. I throw them on the ground. In seconds they have disappeared. I cant breath. My lungs try but nothing seems to be happening. It burns. I felt myself fall. There's no pain, just darkness.

Why?

"What is wrong with her?" there is a voice speaking. Male. Sounds like Cayn? But it can't be. I want to open my eyes but they refuse. I am stuck in darkness.

"I don't know. She is barely breathing." Levi? He is here? "Her heart rate is slow, very slow."

"Tell me something I don't know." Cayn snaps.

"She was fine this morning. Someone has done something to her."

"The Cursed?" Cayn spits out with disgust. "You should have killed the one when you had the chance."

They are moving me, one person has my arms and the other my legs. We are moving up the stairs. I want to tell them about the flowers. Maybe if they knew it would help me recover.

"What should I have done Cayn, kill the Cursed one in front of Lilly. That would have been smart. She would have just been thrilled."

I feel my legs take a sudden drop before being picked up again. "Don't make me hurt you little brother." Cayn say. Brother? What the Hell? My mind must be playing tricks on me. Who else knew they were brothers?

"Don't ever call me that, we are not brothers."

"Fair enough though I'm sure our father would have disagreed." Cayn snaps. I am now convinced this is a dream. It must be.

"We have to work out what is wrong with her."

"You fucked up, you know that. Leaving her alone while there is a Cursed One in our town. What were you thinking?"

"Me." Levi snorts. "I protected her, it's your fault, you pushed it too soon."

"She needed a little nudge."

"You did more than nudge her and you know it."

"Time was running out and I couldn't wait any longer. She didn't love me. It would not have worked. For the child to be conceived she needs to give every part of herself to the father. I tried but she was never mine. No matter how nice I was she just didn't open her heart for me and yet you..."

"So you forced us together knowing how I felt about it." Levi spits out.

"Your feelings," Cayn hissed, "don't matter, only the end result matters. Once there is a child, she will be taken to Hell to unleash her inner demon. Never can we allow her or her child to fall into the wrong hands. She will be the next queen and her child will destroy our enemies."

'Ok,' I tell myself, 'I can die now.' If I could be sick I would be. I'm stuck in head, listening to this. Everything since I arrived here had been a lie. Cayn, Levi...all lies. I hated them.

"Watch yourself. She must never be forced, let alone shown, that side of herself. We promised. Now help me expel whatever poison is ruining though her veins or otherwise your dreams of ruling will come to an end."
