I walked down the hallway, stopping at Daisy's door. I hesitated before knocking, then pushed the door open.

Daisy was laying in her bed, covered in blankets with little sniffles and whines coming out.

"Hi," I stepped into her room, gently shutting the door behind me. "What's wrong?"

"I heard Luke and Ashton arguing," her muffled voice came out from under the blankets. I sat down beside her, awkwardly looking around the room.

What do you say to that?

"It's my fault," she sulked.

"No it's not!" I cried, turning to look down at her, even though her face was covered.

"Yes it is. I'm not stupid, I can see that they've stopped talking because of me." she argued.

I couldn't argue with what she said. As much as I hated to admit it, she was right.

"They'll get over it," I said after thinking of what to say.

But, of course, just as I said that we heard a crash followed by yelling.

D A I S Y

"Maybe I should go help Calum out," Michael hesitantly said after we heard the noise downstairs.

I heard him pad across the room, and the creak of the door, and peeked out from under the covers. I got out and tiptoed behind Michael and followed him downstairs.

The crash had been a picture frame, which Ashton knocked over when he attacked Luke. The two were currently fumbling around, Luke trying to push Ashton off. Then there was Calum, who was frantically trying to pull them apart.

Michael turned and saw me. His eyes scanned my face, taking in my horrified expression.

"Stop," he calmly said, but Ashton and Luke ignored him and continued to yell at each other.

"You're scaring Daisy!" he yelled when that didn't work.

The room went silent and the two boys broke apart.

"Daisy –" Luke breathed out.

Ashton quickly walked away, smoothly grabbing a jacket and his keys.

"Where are you –" Michael began, but was cut off by Ashton slamming the front door behind him.

I looked at the three boys left, tears filling my eyes. This was my fault.

"Daisy," Michael reached out and grabbed my wrist as I turned and started up the stairs.

"I want to be alone," I shook him off, then ran back upstairs.

Maya followed after me and sat on my bed with me as I grabbed my phone from the nightstand. I opened up the texting app and started typing.

Are you busy?

I sat and waited, looking down when my phone went off with a text.

Nope. What's up?

I plugged my earbuds in, then replied.

Can we facetime?

Almost immediately my phone was going off with a request to facetime. I answered it, faking a small smile.

"What's wrong?" Dani asked, shifting around a bit.

"Has Calum told you about Luke and Ashton?" I asked her, running my hand down Maya's back.

"Yeah. He said they haven't been talking much, but that's all."

"I'm the reason."

"What are you talking about?" Dani looked at me oddly. "Why would you say that?"

"Luke and Ashton aren't friends anymore because of me," I said, avoiding looking at the screen.

"What happened?"

So I told her everything. I told her all about the past week (the recording studio, Ashton and Luke's constant bickering, how I wasn't allowed to talk to Luke) and then told her about what had just happened.

"I'm scared, Dani. What if Ashton does something stupid?" I stressed, nervously chewing on my thumb nail.

"I'll have Bry call him and make sure he's okay," Dani softly smiles.

"Thanks, Dani," I said.

We said our goodbyes, then ended the call. I laid back in my bed, hoping Ashton would be okay.
