Chapter 12: Connecting

Yugi POV:

'That can't be....it's just!'

"Impossible!"

I glare at them for even considering such idea. Would they even joke about this? Why would they ask me this absurd question?

"You guys have been with me for a very long time now. If I have known that I have another relative; I would've told you already."

"Y-yes! It's just....."

They made eye-contact with each other; worry and concern cross over their faces in uncertainty.

"What? What is it?"

I waited patiently. That's when Joey started explaining where they encounter my so-call twin.

I carefully listen to every word he said and start to progress what they have offered.

"I want to see him." I declared.

They saw the determine look within my eyes.

"Where is he?" I said with a firm tone.

"He's in the van right now. Unconscious."

"You didn't do anything......severe? Correct?"

"Of course."

Ryou volunteered to take me there, while I told Malik and Joey to walk around a bit to see if anyone need some help.

"Yugi!"

I turn towards the person who called me.

"Yami?"

Yami ran up to me, but not without catching his breath. Panting, he has to bend down and hold on his knees to get back some of his missing air into his lungs.

"Are you alright?" I tilted my head to get a closer look.

"Yes!"

He immediately stood straight, which I quickly avoid myself from getting knocked down. I was surprised a bit, but instantly composed myself.

"I-I wanted to come and see if I can help you with something."

"Oh, ummm....."

I rack my brain to see if I have something for Yami to help with, until I asked, "Don't you need to go home?"

"I can stay a bit longer before I have to go."

"But wouldn't your family be worry?"

"I practically live with my cousins. Including with my friends. Though they act like spoil brats."

(Bakura and Marik: We heard that! )

I glanced at Ryou, who just shrugged.

I sigh before replying, "Fine. You can follow us to the van. I need to go check on something."

Yami nodded before walking alongside me as Ryou took us towards the direction of where the van was last seen and parked. That's when Ryou noticed something off about the back of the van.

"Hm? Did Joey forgot to lock the back door of the van?"

I narrowed my eyes before taking hold of the handle and open it.

Inside is our security cameras, mics, and three digital cameras set along the right side of the van. Including three computer that is run on wireless internet. On the left side, was a small bed with water bottles stack up neatly above and energy snacks.

Yeah, our van is bigger than it looks  like from the inside.

Yami gawk at what he is seeing, while Ryou exclaimed, "He's gone!"
