"Human reason can excuse any evil; that is why it's so important that we don't rely on it."

My eyes shot open, and the memories of last night came flooding back. I sat up and saw Carl and Michonne in the backseat, knowing that I wouldn't be able to fall back asleep.
Rick and Daryl sat outside together, and I sat in the front seat, playing with the necklace that Carl gave me ages ago at the prison.
"I was with Beth," Daryl was talking to Rick, interrupting my thoughts.
Beth was like my sister, always understanding. She was the closest girl in age, and she was someone I could talk to about anything.
"We got out together," Daryl mumbled.
"Is she dead?" Rick asked.
"She's just gone."
They continued talking, but one thing caught my attention.
"You're my brother," Rick told Daryl.
I slightly smiled at that. Merle was never a brother to Daryl. Merle was a lot like my dad that way. I was glad Rick and Daryl had this close relationship.
"Are you okay?" Michonne asked me, and I nodded.
"I have to be," I said while looking down.

Leaves crunched under our feet as we continued on the tracks.
"Are you okay, Daryl?" I asked my uncle, looking up at him, and he nodded. I nodded and intertwined Carl and I's hands together.
"I love you," I whispered to him, and he kissed my forehead.
"I love you, too."
We came across an old metal sign that was buried under some leaves.
"TERMINUS,"
"We're gettin' close, be there before sundown," Daryl predicted.
"Now we go through the woods, we don't know who they are," Rick said as he started walking towards the woods, and we all followed.
We finally arrived at a clearing, readying our weapons. I looked through the fence and saw a red brick building.
"We all spread out, watch for a while and see what we see. We all stay close," Rick ordered.
I went with Michonne and Carl. She started explaining what happened to her son.
"When I told you about Andre, you never asked how he died," Michonne pointed out to Carl. I looked up at them in confusion.
"Who was Andre?" I asked both of them.
"He was my son," Michonne smiled sadly. I looked down and let her continue.
