“Dona, come on! Don’t be like that!”

“No, Chloe, what’s mine is mine.”

“Aw, come on. Don’t be mean. I’m the guest here,” I pouted.

“Don’t give me that look, Chloe. It doesn’t work on me.”

I sighed. Okay fine, I get it. “Alright, alright, you could have it. Whatever.”

Dona smiled wickedly at me as she got the last piece of pizza we ordered. One box isn’t enough for us.

The sun was slowly setting. Dona and I decided to call the girls for an overnight. While she was busy dialing their numbers, I decided to ring my mom. She’s probably worried sick by now. Good thing is, my mom always listen. Just erase the scolding part, though. My mom could be a terror.

My mom’s phone rang for three times before she answered it. “Hey, ma,” I said.

“Chloe, dear, where were you last night? You went off without asking our permission. Your dad’s really mad at you,” mom told me with much disappointment in her tone. She sounded calm though, but I know mom more than anybody else in this world. Please don’t count my grandma.

Speaking of which… Holy Cow! Of all things I could ever forget. “Oh gosh, I’m really sorry ma. Is dad still mad? Please say sorry… and I’m sorry too, ma. It won’t happen again, I promise.”

“Your dad will understand, dear. Explain things to him as soon as you get home, alright? Where are you, by the way?”

“I’m in Dona’s house, ma. Can I stay for another night here?” I asked mom.

“Yeah, sure,” mom said. “Just be safe, alright? Your dad and I will be out tonight.” Oooh, their crappy little date.

     “Thanks, mom!”

Mom chuckled over the phone, “Silly child. Goodbye, Chloe.”

“Yeah, bye mom,” I finally told her before cutting off the line.

Looking back at Dona, she raised an eyebrow at me, crossing her arms over her chest. Just to have fun, I also did the same thing. “What?” I asked.

“You do realize you’re wearing Drake’s clothes, don’t you?” she sarcastically asked. “The girls are coming over. You don’t want them to get any suspicious.” Yeah, and look who’s even talking. Just the person who said, OMG! You two have been sleeping together?! OMG OMG OMG! Why didn’t you tell me?!

“Yeah, yeah, I know that. Lend me some of your clothes.”

“Go upstairs. You know where my room is. Grab some clothes.”

Walking to her room, the thought of me wearing Drake’s clothes wasn’t actually pissing me off—weird. Seriously, if you ask me, it’s kind of… I don’t know. I mean, I don’t know. Okay, just—just don’t ask me ‘cause I seriously don’t know.

Changing Drake’s boxers into Dona’s shorts, I looked in front of the mirror. Dona’s blouse was too tight for me, and I hate it. I’d rather have Drake’s loose shirt on rather than suffocating myself to death. That’s not a very nice way of dying.

Hearing the girls yelling at each other’s downstairs meant… I need to go down—Duh! Do you expect me just to stand here and look at my own reflection while they’re having fun downstairs? You think I’m stupid?
