Now That He's Back

*NOW*

"WHAT! HE'S MOVING BACK?!" I yelled.

"Yes, honey he is. Please calm down" my mother said.

"Why does he have to move back?!" I said.

"Honey, I don't know. Did something happen between you two?" She asked.

"No it's nothing" I lied.

"C'mon honey, talk to me. Please?" She said.

"It's just before he left, he made a promise" I said.

"What promise" she asked.

"He promised he would call or text to keep in touch" I said.

"Oh. So, that's why you don't want him coming back because he broke y'all's promise?" she asked.

"Well, it's not that I don't want him to come back. It's just, he made a promise & he broke it" I said.

"Yeah, well I'm sorry he broke it honey, but your gonna have to move past that part of your life" she said.

"Yeah, I know. Thanks for the advice mom" I said hugging her.

"No problem, sweetie. Now how about you start helping your mom with the laundry?" she said.

"Uhh, no thanks. I'm good" I said walking up the stairs laughing.

"Arianna, you little brat" she said laughing.
