Chapter 4

"Arianna! Come downstairs please!" I could hear my mom say from downstairs.

I picked up my phone & looked at the time & it was 6:31 pm.

I had slept for 2 1/2 hours.

"Coming!" I yelled.

I got up & went into the bathroom to fix my hair & wipe off the drool from beside my mouth.

I went downstairs & I heard this familiar voice.

I finally reached the bottom of the stairs & entered the dining room and I saw Liam's mom chatting with my mom while drinking wine.

"Uhh hi" I said.

"Oh hey honey, there you are" my mom said.

"Hey dear, you look like you just woke up" Liam's mom said.

"Uhh yeah, I had fell asleep" I said.

"Oh, well I'm making your favorite. Fish & shrimp" my mom said.

"Oh, well thanks mom" I said.

"Your welcome hun" she said.

"Uhh mom, can I talk to you please?" I said.

"Sure honey" she said.

Then we went into the other room & she said "Is something wrong, honey?"

"Why would you invite Liam's mom over? In fact where is Liam?" I said.

"I'm sorry honey & Liam is coming over soon" she said.

"Mom, earlier we talked about how I'm mad at him & your gonna invite him over? I don't care if his mom is here, I just don't want him here. I don't consider him as my bestfriend anymore" I said crossing my arms.

"Honey, I know it's just I think when you see him & catch up on things, you won't be so mad anymore & y'all can be bestfriends again" she said.

"Whatever, I'll just stay upstairs in my room" I said.

"Okay, but I atleast want you to come down for dinner" she said.

"Alright, fine" I said.
