Now That He's Back

Chapter 24

I woke up to someone tugging on my shoulder. I looked up from my pillow waiting for my eyes to adjust. It was Liam. Oh god.. I looked hideous.

I touched my cheek & it was wet. It was drool. Eww.

"Morning sleepyhead" Liam said.

"Uh hey, what time is it?" I asked.

"It's almost 12:30" He said.

Ugh really 12:30 already?! I feel like I didn't even sleep a wink.

I slowly got up from my bed. I stood up & almost fell but Liam had caught me. He helped me up & then my legs finally adjusted.

I felt so embarrassed.

Then both of us walked downstairs together. I could tell he only walked with me to make sure I didn't lose my balance again.

We walked into the kitchen & surprisingly I didn't see my mom there with a mug of coffee in her hand.

"Hey uh do you know where my mom is?" I asked.

"She said she had to fill in someone's shift for work & she'll probably be back around 5" He said.

"Oh ok" I said.

I ate some cereal even know it was almost 1:00 in the afternoon but who cares.

"So do you have any plans today?" Liam asked.

"Uhh I don't think so" I said taking a bite of cereal.

"Good" He said with a smirk on his face.

I just gave him a confused look.

He just smiled at me like a complete weirdo, but his smile was so adorable & I couldn't help but smile back.

After I ate my cereal, I went to the couch & turned on the tv. There was really nothing to watch so I just turned on 'full house' on abc family.

"Hey imma go & I'll be back later to pick you up" Liam said.

"Pick me up for what?" I asked him.

"Oh yeah, I'm taking you somewhere tonight, so wear something nice, or just come as you are cause you're beautiful either way" He said giving me a wink.
