Thin lines between love and hate

Chapter 16

Ray's POV:
When me and Dominique were having our conversation while we waited for our teacher to come to the classroom, Jessica showed up and she had this evil smirk on her face and I could easily tell by the way she was looking at Dominique she wanted more trouble, this girl obviously doesn't understand what leave me alone means and after the encounter she had with I figured she would get the message, but I guess she wants round two.

"Ray can I talk to you for a minute In private please" she said trying to act all innocent and sweet, but I knew Dominique wasn't falling for it "ummm sure" I said not wanting to go speak to her and remove myself from my desk. "So what do you want to talk about" I said already getting irritated "I just want to apologize for the way I acted toward you and especially Dominique, I'm just jealous of your relationship with her that's all" she said "you really mean that" I said crossing my arms across my chest "yeah, I do mean it and maybe if you wouldn't mind, I was hoping we could start being friends" she said. I was very unsure about this situation and was wondering what Dominique had to say about it "cool" I said giving her a slight smile before walking back to my seat as she followed behind. I know Jessica is up to something but I want to know if she can handle it, I'm going to put her to the test.

Jessica's POV:
Ladies and gentlemen, I have another plan that will totally destroy their relationship, but I for sure need this to be a good plan, a plan that will pay off, make their  relationship crumble. Like I said before, no matter how long this takes I will get my revenge.

Dominique's POV:
After Ray had his conversation with Jessica, he came back to his seat, but had this weird look in his eyes "what's wrong" I said "I'll tell you later" he responded back "ok" I said turning around in my seat as Mrs. Monroe walked through the door. I couldn't wait until this day was over.

An hour and 30 minutes later class was dismissed and we headed to art. "Hey Ms. Johnson" I said waving at her as me and Ray took our seats "hey guys" she said making her way into the hallway greeting the other students "so what happened with you and Jessica "she was talking about how she was sorry for trying to ruin our relationship and she wants to be friends Ray told me as I rolled my eyes "anyway...have you decided what your going to do for your birthday" I asked "no not really" he said "man, your birthday is in 3 weeks and you haven't planned anything yet, that's all kinds kinds of messed up" I said playfully shoving him "man, if it was my party I would have planned it a month before, something you could consider doing next time" I said smiling "whatever" he said. After a few minutes of talking and laughing class was starting "alright class, let's begin" Ms johnson said as we took out our sketch books, pencils and colored pencils "so class, today we are going to work on things of nature, what I want you do is pick a partner and discuss what you want to do for this project, you must be delicately detailed and use a form of abstract and you will have this class period to work on your sketches and some time at he to do so as well, let's begin" she said and immediately Ray and I got busy. "So what animal should we do?" Ray asked me "how do you I want to draw an animal, maybe I want to draw the trees or a plant or something" I said " oh really now, ok let's take a look at your sketches and let's why I know you would rather draw an animal than some trees" he said taking my sketch book and looking through all the pictures I had "ok so lion, lion, cheetah, tiger, wolf, another wolf, oh look at that another lion, and a German Shepard... Shall I continue" he said raising an eyebrow looking at me "I see your point, we'll do the lion "I said taking back my sketch book and getting started on the sketches "told you" Ray said playfully pushing me while taking a piece of paper and starting on the sketches as well.

After sitting in art class for 45 minutes it was time to leave. I gathered my things and was about to head to the bus ramp when Jessica stopped me again "are you asking for round 2" I said with a straight face and my arms crossed " no, I came to apologize for all the drama I caused with you Dominique, I really am sorry ok...can you forgive me" she asked as I let out a sigh "fine, but if you even think about trying one of your tricks I will kill you" I said walking away to the bus ramp.

This girl is really pushing my buttons...

Ray's POV:
I got home and immediately started on my homework so it would be done and out of the way when I plan my party, Dominique was right about this whole planing thing, man I had some work to do.
