5 weeks later
Jessica's POV:
I was on my to mother's house today, I wasn't expecting to be there today but she called and said it was an emergency, I hope everything's ok. I finally arrived to her house but I for sure wasn't expecting any police officers. I was so nerve wrecked. "maybe I should leave" I mumbled to myself and after sitting in my car for a few minutes I decided to get out and just face whatever my mother needed me here for, hopefully she didn't do anything stupid. I removed the key she gave me from my pocket and opened the door when I saw 2 police officers, one was taking notes and the other was talking to her "mom, what's going on" I asked, she seemed to be frozen and the officer taking notes stood up and came in my direction "were you in the altercation of the campus explosion 5 weeks ago?" He asked and my palms began to sweat "yeah...why" I asked "do  you know anyone who could do this" he asked "wait a minute, are you saying someone did this on purpose, that it was Arson" I said feeling my blood boil "unfortunately yes, my partner and I suspect that it's someone related to you and your mother" he said "my father is in jail" I said "we're aware of that but there's more to the story then you realize and i'm going to let your mother explain that to you ok" he replied back "we'll keep in touch and let you know if anything comes up in our investigation ok" the officer replied to mother before leaving with his partner "mom what he is talking about" I said with rage, I felt tears form in my eyes "I never thought I would have to tell you this any time soon. Jess when you were 5 I had gotten pregnant and I didn't tell you because I wanted it to be a surprise, you would always talk about how you wanted a sibling and then when I wanted to tell I couldn't because your father began to deal with the wrong crowd and it wouldn't be a helpful thing for our relationship so when I gave birth I decided that I would give him up for adoption for his own safety" She said "I HAVE A BROTHER AND YOU KEPT THAT FROM ME FOR 13 YEARS, MOM ARE YOU SERIOUS" I yelled "Jessica I know your upset but..." I cut her off "UPSET, IM BEYOND UPSET, YOUR A LIAR" I yelled again  "I only lied to keep you safe from what your father would do to you" she said "and look how that turned out, mom he tried to rape me, he humiliated me" I replied back "you think I wanted him to do that to you, I put my own life at risk to keep you safe. I will do anything to protect you and you know that, you think I wanted to give my child away. I gave him up because I realized your father was not capable of taking care of another child ok" she replied back with tears running down her face "and to think that I thought dad was liar and a cheat, your one too" I replied back before heading to door only to stop and turn to look at her "do me a favor and don't call me or ask me to come over, I don't want to see you again" I said before I left.

Dominique's POV:
"See you guys later" I replied to my my mom, dad and sisters "ok, be back by dinner" my mom replied "ok" I replied back before heading out to my destination. I'm finally able to walk freely among myself without using crutches. Yay. I was on my way to meet Ray when I noticed a familiar red head walk by "Jessica wait up" I slightly yelled; she stood at her tracks "what's wrong" I asked, I haven't seen Jessica cry in a while "I just found out the worst news of my life, I have a brother" she replied back "wait what" I said, I couldn't believe what I just heard "are you serious, when did you find out" I asked "about an hour ago, and the thing that hurts me the most is that my mother kept it from me for 13 years" she said as she whipped away the tears that ran down her face "Jessica I'm so sorry" I replied back as I gave her a hug "what Should I do" she asked "I honestly don't know and I certainly don't won't to give you the wrong impression, just give yourself some time to think about it ok" I replied back; she nodded her head "Dominique promise me you won't tell anyone about this" she replied "I promise" I replied back "I'll see you around ok" she replied before walking off to where ever she was going "ok" I mumbled. I stood there for a moment just to think about what I could do but I didn't know what I could do. It may be to complicated to understand from my point of view. "Wow" I mumbled to myself before heading back to my destination.
