Chapter 28

Brandon's POV:
I was in my room waiting for Simone when I got a knock at the door "hey" Simone said "hey" I replied back giving her a hug "I really I am sorry about yesterday, and I most definitely didn't mean to make you upset" she said. Her voice shaky "you don't have to keep apologizing ok, I forgive you" I said motioning for her to come in "I do have one question though" she said messing with her bracelet "sure, hit me" I told her as I took a seat on the couch "um, when you said that if our relationship keeps the way it's going you wouldn't know how we were going to continue it, did you mean that" she asked "no baby I didn't mean that" I told her. She let out a sigh of relief "come here" I motioned her over to me giving her a hug. She did that and cried on my shoulder "I'm so sorry baby" I told her "baby, we will be just fine" I replied back again releasing from the hid giving her a kiss "I love you Simone" I said wiping away her tears "I love love you too Brandon".

Dominique's POV:
I arrived to school a little earlier than I intended to so I just grabbed a snack from the snack machine and headed to study hall. "Oh hey Jessica" I said taking a seat at the table with her "hey" she said "what's wrong with you" I asked placing my things next to me "it's been a long week" she said "you right about that" I replied back "did anything in particular happen" I asked taking a bite of my cinnamon roll bun "I was at my moms house when a police officer arrived with my father talking about how he's been using my mothers money to open an illegal bank account" she told me "wow, how much money did he take" I asked "he didn't take anything, she gave him the money" she told "are you serious, ok now much did she give him" asked feeling like I'm being nosy, which I know I am "roughly $500" she told me "shoot, if that was my dad he wouldn't be getting a dime from my mother. If he had to go to jail my mother wouldn't care because she don't deal with that crap" I told her "and that's what she should have done in the first place.leave him alone, but she always wants to find a way to help people. How about for once she say no" she told and I could tell she was getting aggravated "exactly" I replied back to her as we removed ourselves from the table heading to our classes. "See you later" she replied back waving going to her class "later" I waved back heading to my class.

Simone's POV:
"Do you fill better today" Brandon asked as we headed to the food the court "yeah I'm ok, but I still wish I handled that situation better" I told him "baby, your still thinking about that. Come on now let it go" he told me "I've been trying" I told him. He took ahold of my hand and kissed it "baby, that is not something you need to worry about ok. It's a new day so let's just move forward" he told me as we stopped at the entrance of the food court "ok" I told him as I have him a quick peck on the lips before entering the building "what do want to eat" he asked "fries with a Pepsi" I told him "gotcha" he replied back heading to the counter while I took a seat at the booth, then I got a text from Dominique.

Dominique: hey
Me: hey
Dominique: what you doing
Me: out with Brandon
Dominique: yay, so y'all cool now
Me: yeah you could say that
Dominique: what else is going on
Me: nothing, it's just that I've been thinking too much about the situation bad he told me not to worry about it but it just doesn't seem to go away
Dominique: well if he says don't worry about then don't worry about, but I do understand where your coming from. But he is right, let it go and spend some quality time with your man ok ttyl.

"Here you go" Brandon said placing my fries and soda in front of me "thanks, but I'm not going to eat all of these fries by myself" I told him "I know, I'll be happy to take whatever you don't eat" he told me sliding the plate of fries to the middle of the table "you know me too well" I told him "that's what boyfriends are for" he replied back with a smile, I smiled back.
