Kat's POV

I ran so far I didn't know where I was. I know I am still in the pack territory because nobody has come stalking me. I stopped at the river for a drink, I had felt the ground stop shaking after I took off so at least that is good. Spencer and Kris would be there helping the pack clean up so I knew they weren't following me. Even if they were I masked my scent so nobody could find me.

I heard a tree fall a few miles behind me. Hunters. thats their signal that they found a wolf. I know you'd think that they would just yell out 'GOT ONE!' or 'OVER HERE' but no. The push down a fucking tree! And what's worse they don't even do anything with it they just leave it there.

They call us monsters, they are the ones destroying our earth and Nyx hates it. She casts them out when she can but she can't watch them all at once. Sometimes the only way she can sense them is when one of her wolves is hurt, even then it may be too late.

I ran as fast as I could and it felt like within a minute I was there. I saw a woman with bright red hair stab a white wolf and then she bolted. What got to me was the way she bolted. She shifted into a wolf and took off. The wolf was dark brown with light brown tribal patterns on it. I looked over to the white wolf, she was bleeding pretty intensely, she was going to need blood and a lot of it. But that was only if I could get her back to the pack house in time. Shit!

'Spencer it's Kat. Did you see where the tree fell?'

'Yeah, why?'

Boys. They really weren't that smart. 'I need your help. Hurry!'

'On my way.' he said and I cut off the link.

I ran over to the wolf and put pressure on the wound. She was bleeding a lot but I was able to slow it. I tried not to think about the fact that I was sitting in a pool of blood while I had my hands on a blood stained white wolf. I just thought about the fact that I was saving the life of someone who needed it while I closed my eyes and waited for the others to get here so that we could get her home and fix her up.

Maybe she could tell us who we are dealing with...

Finally my mate got here with a group of warriors. They looked around for a minute but saw the pool of blood I was sitting in and lifted her up. Of course Spencer insisted that I let him examine me for wounds or anything they might have planted on me first.

I climbed on Spencer's shoulders so that I could keep pressure on it. I finally realized that this was pointless and I could have blinked her back the whole time because these guys were slow as hell.

I kept my focus on her because if I could only blink one of us out It had to be her. I opened my eyes and saw that I not only blinked her and I to the pack house, but everyone that was touching us, and I didn't even feel tired. My gift was growing, Spencer looked up at me in shock but ordered his warriors to take us to Jessi.

"Oh my God what happened?" Jessi said running up to us after seeing me and the wolf soaked in blood.

"Hunters." I said as the warriors set us down on the hospital bed.

"I am going to need a lot of blood can you go get some Spencer?" Jessi asked. Spencer nodded at one of his warriors to go get the blood. "I'll also need some bandages," She looked from warrior to warrior as she made a list of what she needed "a pale of water, some towels, a needle, and some thread." She finished.

I looked at Spencer and Jessi with curiosity as all the warriors left the room. "We have never had an attack so we never felt the need to keep the bandages and needles and thread in the office." Spencer said. I nodded. I still didn't think that was a good reason but it made sense.

"So can she shift?" Jessi asked. I thought I saw a bit of worry in her eyes but I probably do too. I mean with alpha here there is some pressure on her to fix the she wolf and the patient is in critical condition.

"I think if she could shift she would have done it by now Jess." Spencer said in a kind of mean way.

"Right, my apologies, I should have realized the stupidity in that question." Jessi said looking down.

"It's fine," I said not giving Spencer the opportunity to talk "Can you please go check and see what happened to the warriors?" I asked. I had a bad feeling.

I looked down and saw all the dried blood on me and the wolf and felt sick. "Who would do a thing like this?" Spencer came up behind me and took my place. He must have seen that my arms were shaking.

"Go wash up, love." Spencer said and he pecked my cheek. I went into the bathroom and scrubbed my arms harshly. I thought that they might fall off if I kept it up so I stopped and watched the red flow down the drain. Such a pretty color forever ruined in my mind.

I walked out of the bathroom after cleaning the tears off my face. I walked over to Spencer and went under his arms so that I could come up between them. I threw my arms around his neck and hugged him tightly. "Thank you." I said as more tears fell replacing the ones I had just cleaned. I pulled away and looked into his eyes. Blue. ((I don't think I gave him an eye color but lets just say they are blue because I love blue eyes))

Next thing I know Kris has him pinned against the wall and was beating the crap out of him.

Hey guys! So this chapter had 1780 words which is more than I would usually post and I still had more to write, a lot more, so I decided to make this a two parted chapter. I still have the writers block but I am pushing myself and I think it's getting better! Hopefully I'll get back on my normal schedule soon. Thanks for reading I hope you like this chapter and let me know what you think. I love you wolfies! <3
