Kat's POV

"Kris!!! Kris come on, stay with me!" I shouted as I fell into yet another pool of blood in the woods. I looked up and saw. Of course, who else would want to hurt me so badly. "Why would you do this!? HE DIDN'T DO ANYTHING TO YOU!" I shouted

"Of course he did, he existed." and she walked off. I quickly blinked to Jessi, surprisingly comas let you rest more than people would think.

"JESSI! I need help now!" I yelled as I set Kris down on the hospital bed and looked at his entrance and exit wounds. It didn't look like she used a hunters weapon because it had started healing a little. That means it isn't her who is betraying the pack.

"Oh my God." Spencer said from the doorway.

"What happened!?" Jessi said running in as she shoved past Spencer and started listing off the meds she needed to the nurses that had pretty quickly gathered round.

"....My mother." I said remembering what Nyx had told me, I walked out of the room and shoved past my mate like a complete asshole in search of my mum.

"Well it's about time." She said as I got to my old cave, "I was beginning to think you wouldn't show." She said aiming the gun she had used to shoot Kris at me.

"That isn't going to help you at all mom." I said sweetly, like I was a loving daughter trying to stop her mom from jumping off a building but staying strong and not crying.

"We'll see."  She said as she pulled the trigger. I froze everything, or more like time just froze, at least I was out of danger. I ran over to the blob that was heading straight for the bullet, blinked mom so that she took the place of where she shot, and then tackled the blob as time froze.

The blob was Spencer, he was about to take a bullet for me. I heard the painful yelp my mother let out. I got up and rushed towards her leaving Spencer lying on the ground while he tried to think what happened.

"MOM!" I shouted as she fell to the ground, "Mommy are you okay!?" I said softly to her as I fell to the ground with her.

" I need you to pull the bullet out now sweetie." She said with great struggle.

"No mom, you probably have some internal bleeding that the bullet is blocking, we can't remove it because you would die. You can't die mommy, I need you." I said as I squeezed her hand I could have sworn that something or someone shifted inside her, and made a run for it but since all I saw was a shadow I brushed it off.

"Just take it out baby I promise I'll be fine. That is my gift from Nyx." She said smiling up at me. I pulled the bullet out of her stomach and threw it to the ground. At least I know she wasn't trying to kill me right away, if she wanted to she would have. I looked back down at her stomach and saw her heal up in about .5 seconds. 

I hugged her tightly and she hugged me back. "Hey mom?" I asked remembering Kris.

"Yeah?" She asked still burying her face on my shoulder

"Does that work on other people? Like, can you transfer it to some else and heal them too?" I asked. She pulled away deep in thought.

"I don't know actually." She said as she looked at me in the eyes, "Worth a shot I suppose" She finally said. I grabbed her hand and Spencer's pant leg (I could feel his presence behind me) and blinked us to the infirmary.

Mom gasped, "Your gift is teleportation!" Mom said making the nurses jump and Jessi look up for but a moment.

"Actually I have many, thats the reason you got shot. I froze time and moved you in my place.." I said putting my head down. I felt bad about her almost getting dead.
