KAT'S POV

The fire died out, I remained calm on the outside but on the inside I was screaming. "I apologize for my outburst, it was most inappropriate. Excuse me while I find a psyche doctor to address both her situation and my own." I calmly walked out of the room and into the one right next to it. I could still hear what was said through the wall, but they were extra thick so that normal werewolves, like Spencer and Sarah, couldn't do that.

I mind linked the psyche doctor, a I said I would, and waited for him to get there. I made sure to say Sarah's situation was urgent so I could see what they decided. A few minutes later I heard footsteps coming down the hallway. I straightened my posture and prepared for her to greet Sarah and Spencer as Jessi usually did. I was all ready to cringe, like hearing the same greeting would bring back the sense of evil in the pack, instead I heard a more disturbing greeting.

"Hello alpha," Pause, "...Luna. How may I be of service?" I let out a small growl, Then a wimper when Spencer wasn't the one to correct her.

"Oh, no! I would never! We aren't mates!" Sarah said sounding a little embarrassed. I wonder if the embarrassment was for me, Spencer, or herself. And if it was for herself, why? Was she embarrassed that she didn't have a mate or did she like Spencer? I would try to read her mind but then I wouldn't be able to hear them talking.

"Oh, my mistake! I apologize Alpha, I didn't know." the doctor said quickly. I heard the bed shift, Spencer stood up. It's fine Savannah, I'm going to go speak with my mate now. She has a lot of explaining to do. I heard their door knob twist and the door opened then closed. This didn't go quite according to plan. I hear his footsteps then I hear another pair join him. Soft, so they must be female.

"Hey Alpha, where you headed?" The girl ask, her voice was low but smooth, a hypnotic kind of voice, like she could put you in a trance if she tried.

"Probably the same place you're going. You here for Kat?" He asked slowing a bit so she could catch up.

"Yeah, she's your mate right? I forgot about that." She replied with a laugh. Something told me not to be mad at either of these girls because I would need them. I would also become friends with them. The door opens then.

"After you." Spencer says holding the door open. The girl walks in slowly looking at me like I might pounce at her for that. I smile reassuringly at her and I see her straighten up. Spencer walks in and sits on the chair beside the bed, not on the bed like he did with Sarah. Why do I always mess things up?!

"Alright, I know your name already but I have to confirm it, its the rules, so whats your name?" She said in a mocking tone. Not mocking me but mocking the lame rule that says you have to ask the patients name 20 times a session.

"Katherine Jamie Wolf." I say to her looking over her shoulder, as she types it in, to make sure she spells it correctly. They always misspell my name.

'Her last name is wolf? That's funny. Don't laugh Destiny, don't laugh' I heard her echoey voice say in my head.

"Yeah, I know, Haha! Cause I'm a wolf right? You can laugh if you must instead of keeping it in your brain." I say without thinking. I sounded annoyed at her but I was mostly annoyed with myself. Why was I this special person with all these gifts yet I don't even know how to control them half the time? I don't understand. Is Nyx having a good laugh about this up in the otherworld?

"What?" She says looking a little worried. She is worried both for my sanity, and the privacy of her thoughts. I don't want anybody knowing about this one so I am going to have to learn how to keep my mouth shut.

"Sorry, everybody always finds it so hilarious that my name is wolf and I am a wolf. I was just assuming that was the reason you looked so focused after I told you my name." I'd said adding a sweet smile after to seem like an apology. I was sorry for sounding so harsh but damn, she could have gave a little chuckle and dropped it.

"Oh no, it's fine, I was thinking how ironic it was but I didn't want to offend you by laughing. I wasn't sure if you were sensitive to the subject." Oh, well now I feel bad. I should have considered it more and appreciated her efforts, and honestly if it weren't for the mind thing I would have been grateful for her not laughing. I'm such a bitch.

"Thank you for being so thoughtful, I apologize again for my rude outburst, I don't know what has gotten into me today." I said honestly.

"So you're saying this behavior is abnormal for you?" She asked typing in the computer. I looked to Spencer... He looked at me and smiled a shy smile.

"I believe there was one other time other than today that I couldn't control my words from coming out. That night at the diner when Jessi died. My wolf changed. It's different colors now. Not like when Spencer first found me." I told her. I hadn't told Spencer yet it had only been, what, one, two days now? I looked to Spencer and he looked confused. "Look."

I moved the chair I was sitting on out of the way, Destiny, (I'm assuming thats her name from her thoughts), rose as well and pulled her chair along with her near the door. I shifted, I could see in the mirror the colors were the same but my wolf was larger. Spencer stood up and I was looking him in the eyes. ((He's 6 ft 2 in remember guys)) Destiny looked like she was about to shit bricks and Spencer looked at me, eyes wide, studying my new wolf.

Did I just completely screw up?
