When you have a job, you wish to take a day off and stay at home on your couch but when you can actually do the whole couch scene, you get bored and just wish that days go by fast.
I wasn't unemployed. I'm on a break before I get myself into work and that's till the end of January.
I started to get bored and I was about to loose it but that's when Peter decided to start on his research and that would keep me active.
Since the time I've met Peter, he's always wanted to come to England. When I asked him why he never came for a visit, he told me that he never really had a reason to fly out to even visit it. Basically, he never wanted to leave California.
I thought it would be nice to have a different audience in the research we were doing.
That is how I have both Peter and Jade in London for almost two weeks.
I did not want a get together where Harry, Dani and Callie would have to meet Peter and Jade, not that I didn't want them to meet each other. It would have been a lot better if Peter and Jade did not know about Callie and it would be heavenly better if I never made up the whole "Jade and me" thing.
I was surprised to know that Callie would be coming over. I was excited since I wanted to see her reaction when she saw Jade but how could I ever forget about the fact that she was now hanging out with the great Samuel.
There she was in my house, with her arms around Samuel's with a cheery big smile on her face.
"Your sister is here, Dani." I turn to Dani, who was talking to Jade. Dani stopped the conversation and turned to look at her sister.
"Why don't you go greet her?" I say.
"Sure, I mean what else can I do at my fiance' best friend's house right? To greet your lover and her new fling?" she scoffed and walked to greet Callie, I sigh and turn to Jade.
"So she's the famous Calliope I've heard about." I nod.
"Remember Jade, you're dating me." she giggles. "Don't worry Tommy boy." she pats my shoulder ant then we walked to where Callie and Samuel were standing and now was talking to Peter.
"So what do you do, Peter?" Callie asked Peter.
"I'm a HR consultant and now doing a PhD with the help of these great professors and researchers." he answers and he quickly looked at Jade and me.
"That's nice to hear." she smiled and looked at me.
"You're glowing Louis!" she exclaimed and brought her hand forward. "I never knew your style of greeting people changed." I brought my hand forward and greeted her with a handshake.
"It hasn't but since I figured that the gorgeous girl standing beside you is the one who stole your heart, I couldn't help but state that you're glowing." she says and looks at Jade with a smile.
"Calliope Edwards." she introduces herself.
"Jade Martin." Jade introduces herself to Callie. "It's nice to finally meet you. Louis would never stop talking about you and Harry back in LA." Jade tells her.
"Like wise, I've heard about you too and I'm glad I finally got to meet you." Callie says.
"Louis, you know Samuel right?" she looked at me and then turned to Samuel.
"Yeah, I do. It's been a while." I nod a little with a small smile.
After our little introduction stage, we walked to the kitchen and Harry and I served out the drinks from my bar. With strict instructions from Harry, no whiskey was to be served tonight.
