I was woken up by the airhostess to keep my seat upright as the flight prepared for landing. Eleven hours and I slept through most of it. I secured myself with the seatbelt and straightened the seat and leaned on the window as we went below the clouds.

A sense of happiness rushed in when I saw the land, it felt good to be home.

The plane landed and in a matter of minutes, I and all the passengers exited the aircraft in orderly fashion. I walked into the airport and crossed the immigration with no difficulty. I collected my baggage from the baggage claim and followed the directions towards the exit.

Families and friends were standing behind the rope barricade. I scanned the crowd and I finally spotted the person who I missed a lot and it was better when he found me too. I reached the point where there was no barricade between us and he came over and gave a warm, tight hug.

"You're finally here!" he exclaimed and hugged me more tight. Usually I would tell him that I can't breathe but I needed this hug.

"I'm finally here, Harry." I hug him back. I missed him, a lot and getting a hug from him made me feel at home. I mean why wouldn't it. This boy had my back since I came to London way back when I fourteen, he stood by me when I flunked my exams, told his parents about how my father and my mother were on a rage and they accepted me as their own son. That was one part of my past that I could not face ever again.

We pulled away from the hug and looked at each other. "Don't we look like long lost lovers?" I chuckle at his words. "I don't, to me it looks like I'm finally meeting my best bud after a very long time." He chuckled.

We walked out of the airport, I pushed the cart and he had his right arm over my shoulders. His car was exactly as he had described it while we once spoke. "You chose a gorgeous one, Harry." I told his I stood in front of it. "Yeah." he nodded and unlocked the trunk of the car. He and I placed my luggage in there and closed it.

After seating and securing ourselves in the car, Harry drove out of the parking area of the airport and headed towards mum's house. I planned to stay with them for a bit and then go back to my house.

Three years and this place looks the same, I mean the country has developed more but it looks just like how I saw it last. After seeing the view of my homeland, I turned to Harry.

"Three years felt like a very long time mate." he told me.

"It felt like that for me too." I say as I leaned back on the seat. "I missed the weather, the sun shines a lot in California." I told him, he chuckled.

"You going to miss the years you had there?" he asked me. "Don't know." I shrug. "It feels good to be home but being a lecturer at Stanford was amazing." I answer, he nodded and continued to drive.

"You were right about Jade." he gave a quick glance. "She liked me." a smile crept on his face. "What did you tell her?" he asked me.

"That I had someone else in mind." I reply. "She was a bit upset but she took it cool though. To be honest, she's a very nice person, Harry." I tell him and he nodded.

"Not all the nice women out there is for you." He states. "And the ones meant for you makes everything difficult." He laughs.

"Well there are exceptions." He continues to laugh.
