Calliope Jane Edwards
It's been a week since I came to London. Sophia wants me to stay here because she told me that I would have to be with my sister before her wedding. I have no issues staying away from Manchester but I do care for the people who works under her.
After months, Dani and I decided to have a sisters day out. Mum was having some girls over to teach them embroidery. She's been getting bored at home after retiring last year, so she decided to teach the art of stitching and baking during he day while Dani was out.
"You remember the top I wore for Evan's baptism?" I nod my head. "I couldn't find it, so I asked mum and she very calmly told me how that is her new model of display for her students." Dani tells, I couldn't help but laugh.
"It's not funny, Callie." She hits my arm.
"Anyway, what happened to guy you went on almost three dates?" She asked me.
"Did I not tell you about that?" She shook her head. "We never really talked about it for almost two years because you never brought it up." She looked at me. She wasn't wrong, I have had proper conversations with my sister but there were bazillion other things to talk about.
"Oh, well um...Liam kind of scared him away." I answer he question. "Scared him away?" She asked me.
"Yeah, Liam wasn't very happy with the guy in the first place. Anyway Henry and I were going to a pub for about third date, we were drinking and dancing and it was like any typical pub scene. I very much knew his intentions, I wasn't giving into his temptations, I never kissed him even his lips were kissable." She giggled.
"The alcohol had consumed my head well and I was about to kiss him but when I couldn't feel his lips, I opened my eyes to see him on the ground and Liam pulling me out of the pub." I end my story and my sister laughs. She found it amusing to have me getting pulled out of a pub by Liam (technically my brother).
"That explains why he always wanted a younger sister." Dani states as we walked into H&M. "I wonder how Taylor's teen years will be like." She wondered. "I'll be her comfort when they both go crazy on her." I told Dani. "Me too." Dani agreed.
The early winter clothes were in, you really can't say if it's winter since the climate in this country throughout the year is cold, chilly and rainy. I found a coat and it was just so adorable, I couldn't help but want to purchase it. I picked it and I picked another two tops that looked good. Once we were done, that's after two hours of agrees and disagrees on every fabric Dani picked up for herself. We checked out and then we walked down the pavement.
"You really didn't have to pay in there." Dani looked at me.
"Don't mention it, I rarely get to spoil my little sister." I tell her. "That's sweet, but I will not be at peace." she frowned a little.
"Oh come on, it costed nothing in there." I say.
"Fine, but for my sake, do me one favour and I will believe that you're really spoiling me today." I stop, so does she and I look at her.
"What is your favour?" I ask her,
"We're standing in front of it." she smirked. Wondering what she meant, I turned around to look at the shop we were in front of.
Victoria's Secret.
"Sure, If this is what you want. I do have things to pick up from here." I tell her and walk in.
"Not that fast, sis." She caught my arm. "What? I'm willing to buy you from here, even if you can afford it." I shrug.
"You're not getting me just anything, I need something very specific." she looked at me as if I have to understand from eyes what she was trying to mean, and I did.
