Louis William Tomlinson
With less than a month left for me to get back to the profession I belonged, I decided to stop by the University and meet the director.
An amazing man he is and with the interaction I had with him, I was really looking forward in working with him and his team.
I've been counting down days to get back to work, I miss walking into the large rooms and give my best to the young minds that are seated in front of me.
It would be a bit more of traveling from where I stay but I could manage that.
I was driving back to the city, I had a couple of things to do like pay some bills and go grocery shopping but before I did all that, I had to meet Callie since I got a new update on the musicians we were hiring for the wedding.
I find a spot to park my car and got out of it. I walk down the pavement and opened the double glass door that lead me into the shop. Few of them recognised me and immediately greeted me with gestures but one of them came to me and greeted me and insisted to accompany me and she seems to be new here.
"I'm Poppy and you're?"
"Louis." I tell her my name.
"Um Poppy, you really don't have to accompany me. I do come here often." I try and avoid her accompanying me.
"Are you sure?" she asks me, looking very innocent.
"For the last time Alisha! I told you I want them ready when I get back and you have none of them ready!" I hear Callie yell.
"I'm sure." I give Poppy a polite smile. "Just a warning, she's not in the best mood today." she warns me, I chuckle.
She climbed the stairs along with me, I did not give her much of my attention. It was hard to give her any attention because Callie was literally yelling on top her voice.
I stop and saw four of her colleagues standing with their heads hung low and I saw Callie standing in front of them in anger.
"Where's Mason?" she calms a little and asks them, I stop Poppy from interrupting the conversation that was going on. Interrupting her was a bad idea.
"He hasn't come in today." one of them spoke.
"What do you mean he hasn't come today?!" she yells at them again. "Didn't I tell him to be here today with the strategies I asked him to prepare on?!" all of them nod a little.
"You don't have to hear anything from Sophia, do you?" she asks them with anger,
"Told you, it's not good to meet her today." Poppy whispers to me, "I can book you an appointment for tomorrow." I shake my head and continued to stand there.
"A few days I'm gone and no work is done here." she continues to scold them. "Aren't you all trained for this or all of you still trainees?" they shake their head.
"When can I have the work?" she asks them.
"By the end of the day." they respond. "Alright then, off you go." she shoo's them off and walked back into her cabin. Alisha came to where Poppy and I were standing, she looked at me and shook her head.
"Bad day?" I ask her.
"Can't really blame her." she shrugs and turns to Poppy. "Why are you here, Poppy?" she asks her.
"I was accompanying Louis to Miss Edwards." she replies.
"Poppy, you don't have to accompany him. He's no guest in this place." Poppy begins to frown a little. "He's Calliope's best friend." I hear Poppy gasp.
