Calliope Jane Edwards
It's been a week since Harry and Dani dropped the bomb of Louis and I planning their wedding. It's been calm to be honest.
I was at work and I hadn't heard from the couple about their wedding although Dani told me that I would have to meet up with Louis to decide on what needs to happen when.
I looked down at a few samples that was sent in for the market for our customers. As I went through them, my phone alerted me of a reminder I set a week ago to talk with to man who supplies fabric for the company.
"Ah Ms. Edwards, how are you today?" The cheery man answers my call.
"I'm doing good Steve, how are you?" I ask him.
"Oh days have been good." He answers. "Anyway, tell me how can I help you."
"Steve, I want some really good material for a wedding gown. I know you supply them to Burberry and Louis'." I say.
"I never knew Sophia was into designing wedding gowns." I heard him say.
"She isn't, this is for a personal reason. I'm to design my sister's gown for her wedding." I tell him. There was a pause for a moment.
"I see. I could have one of my men to bring the best we have, you can choose from them and tell me." I smile. "Thank you, that's great." I thank him.
"Your welcome. I'll have the samples sent in by this afternoon." He tells me. I thank him again and kept the phone down. I leaned back on my chair and opened the folder that had all the designs to make her gown.
I put together some of the designs and I was excited to put it all together in real. As much as I was excited to have a her wear the gown, I couldn't believe that in a matter of few months, my sister is going to be my best friend's wife.
I heard a knock on my door, "come in!" I yell. I close the folder that was open on my screen and looked at the mess at my table. The door opens and I look up to see Dani standing at the door.
"Hey Callie!" She greets me and closed the door behind her and walked to the seat in front of my table.
"Hey, not be rude but what are you doing here?" I ask as I saw her set a bag on my desk.
"I simply came over. I'm off for the rest of the day since my boss had to attend a meeting and all that so I thought why not join my sister for lunch." She smiles.
"That sounds nice Dani," I smile and say as I settled the papers on my desk. "I wasn't planning to have lunch since I have a lot of work to do."
"Nonsense, sounds like you're the bride and you're dieting already." She frowns.
"I never really dieted before my so called wedding." I look at her.
"Then have some lunch sister." She pleads. "One of my colleague told me about this Mexican place right around the corner near office, I got some quesadillas." She pointed at the bag on the desk.
"Fine." I sigh and say. She cheered at her little victory and took out our lunch on my desk. She handed me a box, I opened it and I was welcomed some lovely smell of perfectly made quesadilla.
I took a piece of it and placed it in my mouth. I let it melt in my mouth, oh it tasted great.
"It's good yeah?" I heard Dani say.
