Clarke's POV

-
Clarke stared in shock at the girl who was standing at the front of the class.
"Why don't you introduce yourself to the kids?" Marcus began,
"Alright, but--" Ms. Woods began to speak but her teacher had cut her off.
Mr. Kane settled down the class. Everyone turned their attention to the front of the class apart from Octavia who was busy in lala land.
"Well, hello. I'm Ms. Woods."
A few moments later, Ms. Woods spoke again. "Thats it. I'm Ms. Woods and we're not having this conversation." She concluded.
Clarke peered around the room. That seemed to get the classes' attention. She watched curiously as students giggled, some held in their laughter, and some honestly couldn't care less. After Marcus had handed Ms. Woods the keys, and she made her way to the wooden door. Suddenly Ms. Woods froze, her eyes landing on Clarke immediately, and she stared at her as if she just noticed her for the first time. She looked like she was about to blurt something out, but the fact that there was a class full of students, just drawn back to her. "Do you need someone to show you to your class room Ms. Woods?" Her teacher questioned.
Ms. Woods seemed too distracted to have even heard his question but apparently she had.
"Uh, yes. That would be great." The brunette lied.
"Clarke, would you--"
"Hey! Clarke! Isn't she that hot teacher who you accidentally kissed?" Clarke turned over to her friend with wide eyes. Since Octavia was wearing her headphones, and consider the fact that Clarke could hear her blasting music, she figured Octavia was talking loudly because she couldn't hear herself.
Clarke stared at her in shock, unsure of how to save herself from the situation. Her eyes drew back to the front of the class. She felt every single student in that class, including her teachers' eyes burning into her.
She met eyes with Ms. Woods whos jaw was hanging open and who's eyes were wide, just staring at Octavia in complete shock. This was worst for her hot teacher more than herself.
Ms. Woods could lose her job. Clarke would just get the reputation of the slut who sleeps with all of her teachers.
"Ms. Griffin. What is she talking about?" Marcus demanded, as if he couldn't believe what he was hearing. Her teacher furrowed his brows and narrowed his eyes at his Straight A student.
Clarke, once again, struggled for words. "Nothing." She managed. "It was nothing. Octavia is just... she misunderstood. She doesn't have a clue of what shes talking about."
"Clarke what the hell are you talking about! You two definitely kissed and I remember it clearly because you fell on top of her, felt her abs, and got to second base with her!" Octavia exclaimed.
Clarke gave her a look trying to shut her up which seemed nearly impossible to achieve with this girl. "That... Octavia have you lost your mind?" Clarke said harshly.
Octavia took a headphone out rolling her eyes. She turned in her desk to face her fully. And it was like she could care less that there's a classroom full of students, and one confused looking teacher.
Her eyes landed on Ms. Woods who was too frozen to even heal this situation.
Clarke felt sympathy for the older girl. She would definitely get the worst of it. She could go to prison for a great amount of time which wouldn't be the end of the consequences.
Clarke shuddered. She could only imagine what the brunette would go through just because Octavia couldn't keep her mouth shut.
"Octavia, what are you..." A deep sigh escaped Marcus's pink lips. "Lexa. I mean, Ms. Woods." He corrected himself. Ms. Woods turned her attention towards the teacher.
Lexa.
Lexa...
Thats such a beautiful name. Clarke thought to herself.
"Would you care to explain yourself?" Marcus Kane demanded.
Lexa was frozen in place, her mouth still hanging open.
"It was an accident." 'Clarke blurted out suddenly. The class all turned their direction to Clarke. After the shifting of chairs had stopped, Clarke spoke again.
"Yeah, it was an accident. I tripped and... she tried to catch me. Then... I fell. And she fell. Then, okay. What Octavia said was true. But it wasn't intentional. I swear." Clarke said honestly. The teacher named Lexa seemed to be gazing at Clarke deeming memorized.
Marcus nodded slowly. He then rubbed his temples seeming deep in thought.
The class was all silent for a count of 10 painful dreading seconds. They all stared expectantly. They stole glances over at Clarke and over to Ms. Woods. But not to forget, over to Marcus Kane to hear his response to this uncomfortable situation. Uncomfortable for most students. But most for Clarke and Lexa.
"Okay. Alright. Fine." Mr. Kane concluded, his arms dropping down next to his sides.
"Okay, alright, fine what?" Clarke raised an eyebrow. She knew this back talk wasn't going to slip by.
"I believe you, Clarke. If it was a mistake, then I believe you." He discripted.
A smile started to form across her lips but she pushed it back down.
"Wait, I'm confused."
Clarke looked around the class to see if she could catch who had spoken up.
It appeared to be Finn. The boy who had cheated on her. The boy who lied to her, and the boy who was too reckless to even focus.
Clarke stared at him, and he just returned the gaze with a wink. Clarke forced herself to look away. She looked at Ms. Woods who seemed to be giving Finn a death glare. The brunette looked between the two, seeming to wonder what was going on between the two.
Wait a second.
Was Clarke sensing jealousy?
No.
Why would she be. She was a complete stranger, and her teacher.
Clarke smirked amused to herself because of Lexas expression.
"Clarke." Mr. Kane tugged her out of her thoughts.
"Yes Mr. Kane?"
"Please escort Ms. Woods to her classroom please."
Clarke rose to her feet.
Her blue eyes gazed into Ms. Woods' green ones. They held that stare for a count of maybe three seconds. When she heard murmurs or whispers around her, she broke the intense stare. Clarke pushed in her chair which echoed in the silent classroom. When the echo faded, she cleared her throat, making her way through the rows of desks, each one filled with a student.
She stood in front of Lexa who then looked down at her.
"Uh, this way." Clarke walked past her, her arm brushing on Ms. Woods briefly. She heard high heels coming in contact with the tiled floor.
They exited through the doors, and Clarke heard Mr. Kane speak up. "Okay! Lets continue on with the lesson."
Clarke walked down the empty halls and their footsteps echoed through the long narrow hallways. She wanted to walk in compleate silence. She didn't want to all about the previous events. Especially with Ms. Woods. Even if she was a part of this situation as much as Clarke was.
"So tell me Clarke."
The way that Lexa said her name sounded far more different than anyone has ever said it before. It felt different. A good different. She didn't know what it was though...
"Yes, Ms. Woods?" Clarke hated the fact that she couldn't call her by her actual name. She would prefer it.
Ms. Woods sounded far too formal in Clarke's opinion.
"What is the deal with you and that boy?"
