Lexas POV
-
-
She had no plan. This honestly wasn't intentional. Who would plan something like this in the first place!

She had gone out for dinner and was meeting someone but they said they couldn't come but she was already there so there wasn't a point of going all the way home again. So she decided to eat on her own.

She walked into the restaurant then heard a familiar voice. It couldn't be. No way. No fricken way.

"Hey Lexa!"

Bellamy Blake. What in gods name was he doing here!

Lexa turned to the sound of his name and she walked over. "Bellamy Blake." She greeted.

"Are you having supper by yourself Bellamy?"

"No! Clarke's here." He grinned. "She's just taking care of some lady problems. She'll be out in a few minutes."

The girls eyes widened. "Oh well in that case I should get going." She turned on her heels but felt a hand on her wrist. "Wait stay. No harm done." He offered his trouble maker smile before releasing the teacher.

Why did he want her to stay anyways? She had no intention on waiting with him, especially when she was about to see the girl who she was catching feelings for. Her student who she was catching feelings for.

The green eyed girl sighed. "Just until Clarke comes back." She found herself say. Stupid decision Lexa. She scolded herself.

"Well duh. We're on a date so..."

"You two are on a date?" Her expression softened with a twist of sadness and confusion before she hid it under her thick mask of hers. She especially couldn't let Bellamy see it. What would he start to think about it?

"Yeah. Oh. Here she comes." Bellamy rose from his seat and he smiled warmly and calmly at the blonde, pulling her chair out for Clarke and allowing her to sit. "Look who I bumped into!" He stated gesturing to Lexa who was sitting across from Clarke now.

The two stared at each other speechless and Lexa cleared her throat. "Ms. Griffin." She greeted.

Lexa saw only anger in Clarke's eyes. "Ms. Woods." She gritted her teeth.

"Wow. Awkward." Bellamy piped up before giving Lexa a look as if secretly telling her to scram. It wasn't that hard for Clarke to catch on though. Anyone could've.

"Ah. Right. Don't let me interfere with your date." She felt as if a knife stabbed her in the chest and she sighed. She wasn't jealous. She refused to be. Clarke was her student. Honestly she had no right to be. Even if Clarke wasn't her student, she couldn't forget the age difference! Right...?

Pfft. What is three to four years anyways... She pondered. STOP THINKING THAT WAY YOU LUNATIC!

"It's not a date!" Clarke insisted. "As a matter of fact, why don't you join us for a little?" Clarke offered grabbing Lexa by the wrist which made the teacher tense up and pull out of Clarke's warm and intense grip.

Lexa straightened her jacket before she shook her head. "If you'll excuse me, I'm heading to the restroom." Lexa walked past Clarke meeting her eyes one last time before scurrying as fast as her long legs would take her.

Once she entered the washroom, she took heavy and deep breaths and gripped the edges of the counter while she stared at herself in the mirror. Luckily she was alone in there. But not for long.

Lexa heard the door swing open and entered Clarke.

Clarke's POV

She still had to process why exactly Lexa was there... She was honestly the last person she wanted to see. Yeah, it was her fault there was dead air between them but she still didn't want to see her favourite teacher. Completely zoned out in her own little world, she just stared at Lexa while Lexa returned the gaze, but was furrowing her brows. The blonde fell out of her trance when Lexa rose to her feet and seemed to nearly be sprinting to the ladies room. Snorting, she was fully turned in her chair, as her eyes were following the brunette, but once she saw Ms. Woods enter, Clarke rose to her feet. "I think I'm going to go too." She stated clearing her throat.

"But you just came from there. You okay Clarke?" Bellamy questioned seemingly suspicious but with a hint of worry in her deep masculine voice. Clarke felt her cheeks growing extremely hot and she was suddenly thankful for the dimmed lighting throughout the restaurant because otherwise everyone would've seen how flustered she actually was. Ignoring Bellamy's glare of confusion, she turned on her heels, heading towards the washroom. Her heart pounded in her chest. Exactly why was she heading there? She didn't even know. But her subconscious was telling her to go.

She pushed open the bathroom door and noticed Lexa leaning her weight on the palms of her hands that were holding the counter. She looked frustrated. She looked devastated. She looked... Almost broken. And Clarke had a feeling she knew why.
