Clarke's POV

-
Clarke was taken back from her personal question. What is the deal between you and that boy.
Lexas question kept repeating continuously in her mind.
Clarke honestly hadn't thought about that.
What was the deal with me and Finn... She thought to herself.
Well they definitely weren't together. Unless... there was something Finn wasn't telling her...No.
"Excuse me?" That was all Clarke could manage. She said it in a harsher tone than intended but that was personal. Especially if her teacher was asking.
"I don't mean to intrude Clarke, it's just--"
"Yeah well you are intruding Lexa." Clarke froze in her steps realizing she called her by her unique first name. The brunette froze as well and turned towards Clarke.
"Its Ms. Woods, to you."
Clarke felt a pain in her gut. She had idea why. The way Ms. Woods stated that, Clarke wished she hadn't. There was just something about her words that came out harsh and bitter.
"You're right. I'm sorry." Clarke grumbled. She began to walk again, picking up her speed. She just wanted to get it over with. Out of all the 29 other students in her class, Mr. Kane had to pick her. It couldn't have been anyone else.
She heard silence behind her and she knew Ms. Woods was watching her storm off. She could feel her green eyes burning into her back which made her nervous. With this new teacher working here, she was afraid as to what could happen. Did she want something to happen? Or not. Clarke felt endless thoughts running through her head as if they were trying to win a marathon.
Endless thoughts running through her mind. And all about this flawless teacher.
A few more seconds of the sound of Clarke's footsteps echoing through the hall, she heard Ms. Woods start to walk after her."Clarke," The brunette exhaled.
Clarke ignored her. She continued walk without looking back, even though she felt a strong urge too.
"Clarke wait." Suddenly she felt a soft hand grab her wrist and she tensed feeling someone who she assumed was Ms. Woods, turn her around.
"I apologize Clarke. I didn't mean to make you uncomfortable."
"Yeah! I forgive you." Clarke tried to pull out of her grasp but Ms. Woods seemed to have tightened her grip but very little.
"I'm serious Clarke."
"Yeah, no it's fine. It won't happen again. Ms. Woods." Clarke seemed to have said her name in a mocking tone since she wasn't permitted to call her Lexa.
The Brunette released a sigh and also her wrist. "Mockery isn't the product of a strong mind, Clarke."
Clarke rolled her eyes. She could care less about what mockery was or not.
"Whatever you say. Ms. Woods."
Clarke spoke in a mocking tone once again on purpose because of what the brunette recently said. She noticed her clench her jaw and swallow hard which gave Clarke a amused smile. The blonde then turned on her heels and walked a few steps before she stopped. A voice boomed out of the intercom right above their heads."This, is an Indefinite lock down. I repeat. This is an Indefinite lock down."
Doors slammed shut. Clarke looked down the hallway feeling so useless. There was no where to go. No one would let them in without thinking they were outsiders of the school.
Clarke whipped around to see Lexa making her way over. The taller girl grabbed Clarke by the arm and pulled her down the hall quickly.
"Where are we going?" Clarke asked quickly.
"Shh."
"Lex-- Ms. Woods. Please." Suddenly the brunette stopped outside a door. She yanked it open and turned towards Clarke. "Get in." She said in a low voice. Clarke looked at the sign on the door.
Janitors closet.
Clarke hesitated before she felt Ms. Woods gently push her inside and Clarke moved to the back of the closet since Ms. Woods entered after her. She saw Ms. Woods shut the door quietly amd carefully.
"Lets find the light switch." Clarkes voice cracked. She was in a closet with a girl she barely knew, it was dark, and she couldnt see a thing.
"No Clarke. If there is someone inside this school, do you think it would be wise to turn on the light and draw attention to this closet?"
Clarke swallowed hard.
Okay. Okay as long as she keeps her distance, we won't have a problem.
But she knew it was easier said than done. The closet was tiny, usyally only meant for one person.
The janitor.
Clarke was paranoid. It was nearly impossible to keep away from her.
The blonde pulled her cell phone out of her back pocket and started to text Octavia."What are you doing?" Ms. Woods whispered harshly.
"Texting my blabermouth friend to let her know we're okay." Clarke answered without looking up at her. The light from her phone lit up the entire closet.
"Give me that." Lexa moved towards Clarke, pulling her cellphone out of her hand just as she sent the text message.
"Hey!"
Lexa rushed towards Clarke and pushed her gently back into the wall, setting a hand firmly on her mouth.
"Be quiet, Clarke." Ms. Woods seemed to have pronounced every letter of her name. She didn't know why she was focusing on that when they were nearly pressed up against each other.Clarke's heart was pounding. She swore Ms. Woods would be able to hear it because it was extremely quiet. The only sounds were the brunettes calm breaths and Clarke's rapid ones.
She swaowed hard. She could almost see Ms. Woods' green eyes glowing in the dark as they frantically searched the closet as if looking for something. The brunette then looked into her eyes for a long tense moment.
The teacher removed her hand from Clarke's mouth and had now set it on her arm to keep her still.
The blonde could be wrong, but she thought she saw Lexas eyes flicker down to her lips for a moment, before they met contact with her eyes once again.
Clarke took a deep breath wanting to speak, but it was like Ms. Woods expected that since she had removed her hand.
"No, Clarke."
Clarke's mouth parted before she shut it closed again.
This teacher seemed to suspect her every move.
"Kiss me." Clarke suddenly blurted out.
She saw the brunettes green glowing eyes widen, and her mouth part.
Clarke swallowed hard. She felt heat rush to her cheeks. She had no clue why she said that. Was she seriously desperate? Clarke thought bitterly to herself.
Yeah... bet she didn't see that one coming...
