A.N.: This will be the last chapter for The Real Ones. Thank you for your support through all of these months.

"What are you going to do over the summer?" K.T. asked me while she loaded her things into her truck and Eddie and me loaded ours into Fabian's.

"I'm honestly not sure yet." I told her, throwing one of my heavy suitcases into the back seat. "Probably pray that I didn't fail my exams despite everything that happened in mid-April."

K.T. laughed at my remark. "Do you still have stuff back at house? I do."

"Yeah." I told her as I shut the car door and headed back with her. From the parking lot to the way back to the House, we ran across my brother and Jerome talking near a park bench.

"Hey Eddie, are you still heading back to Fabian's house with us later?"

"Yeah, Yacker and her family are still going to Paris for the first two weeks of summer, so I'll be with you guys."

"How convenient it is for me, and all of you, that you three are here." K.T. grew a smirk on her face. "Because, there's something waiting for you back at the house."

"What is it?" Jerome asked. "A million pounds?"

"In your dreams." K.T. said as we followed her inside to the Anubis living/dining room/kitchen. All of the Anubis residents, The Guiders, and even Trudy was there.

"Surprise!" they all yelled at once.

"These are thanks-for-not-letting-us-die cupcakes!" Joy's face rejoiced.

"And for all of us successfully completing our first year at college, together!" Mara exclaimed.

"And if it obviously wasn't for you three, none of us would be here right now!" Amber yelled.

"Yeah, and I have no clue what's going on." Trudy said. "Alfie just told me to make these cupcakes." she gestured to the white vanilla cupcakes in the pan she was holding. Everybody in the room laughed - even Victor.

"Aw, thanks guys!" I smiled. It was nice to have somebody notice your hard, blood, sweat and tears work.

"Yeah, we really appreciate this." Eddie added.

For the first time in my life, I thought I saw Jerome tear up a little. "A lot." he added.

"No problem, you guys deserve it. And we're all still going to go by our promise and tell nobody about this, right? Well, of course, besides the family members we called after it all went down, we tell nobody. Agreed?" Fabian asked them.

"Yeah!" everyone shouted back

Everybody broke apart then to talk to one another and say one final goodbye before everybody left.

"Trudy, I'm going to miss you. Thank you for taking care of me from afar." I told Trudy as I hugged her.

"Oh, anytime, Nina. I'll be back working at the library again next year if you come back."

"I'm looking forward to it. Have a wonderful summer." I smiled at her.

"You too, Nina."

The 4 people I wanted to talk to together just so happened to be in the same area - the dining room. I gathered them around so I could talk to them. "Look, you guys didn't even know about what was going to go down until like, two months ago. Yet, you guys all tackled this wonderfully. I never could have done it. You guys are amazing."
