"Alright, Miss Martin, you are free to go. Please come back immediately if you notice any of these symptoms." The nurse pointed to the symptoms on my pill bottle. We were standing at the front desk. Best to take one now.

"Thank you." I took and swallowed a pill with help from the water in my bottle. I walked out of the hospital as quickly as I could and saw a taxi waiting for me. I sat down in the back seat and looked up at the driver.

"To Anubis, am I right?"

"Yes." I said. "Hey, do I know you from somewhere?"

"Oh, uh, yes, yes, I think you do. You look awfully familiar. I was the one who dropped you off at Frobisher University with those three other kids."

"Oh, yeah. Nice to see you again." I smiled at him through the mirror.

"You too, m'dear."

I pulled out my phone. The time and day read: 3:00, Sunday. I decided to call Gran. She picked up on the second ring. "Hey Gran!"

"Oh, Nina! Are you okay? Who did this to you?"

"Yes, Gran. I'm fine. I'm on my way back to Anubis right now. And I don't know. Some random kid I guess."

"Do you remember what I told you outside of the airport? There are dangers out there. You need to keep both of your eyes open at all times."

"I know, Gran, I know. I'm really tired so I should hang up soon, but I'll call you next week, okay?"

I heard her sigh. "Okay, dear. I love you."

"I love you too." And I hung up. I knew Gran was just talking crazy talk. Must be her old age. Of course I'll always keep both of my eyes open, I have been for the past 3 years.

"I'm so glad you're okay." Fabian let me go after our brief hug.

"Yeah, me too. I think it's time we go down into the cellar." I looked out into the entrance hall. Jerome was standing out there, talking to Mick. "Looks like we'll have to go this way." I held up the Eye of Horus necklace and lead the others into the kitchen. I crouched down and held up the necklace to the Eye of Horus symbol on the old oven in the kitchen that is no longer in use. The symbol and my necklace glowed red, and then we were in. I walked on my hands and knees inside of the tunnel, the others trailing behind me.

"Same old, creepy cellar." Alfie said as soon as we all came out of one of the cellar walls.

"Same old cellar." Eddie repeated.

All of Victor's old elixirs and books still crowded the tables and bookshelves. I noticed all of the different kinds of stuffed species draped against the walls and counters. I guess Victor took Corbaire, the black bird, with him since he wasn't down here or in his old office. I walked around, examining everything I once saw before. Same old cellar.

Before anybody could stop me, I walked over to a particular bookshelf that had figure-8 snakes aligned across the top. I entered the year 1890, the year Frobisher discovered Anubis, into the 4 snakes that spun.

"Here we go again..." Patricia exhaled.

"What?" I asked. "Are you scared?"

She scowled. "Me? Of course not." Patricia stepped into Robert's old study after me along with the others.

"So, where did you guys put the amulets?" I asked them, turning around.

"In this drawer, here," Fabian walked past me, opened a desk drawer and picked up 5 amulets. "Victor broke one, so, we have 5 amulets now, and 7 people. Anybody got any reflectives? Such as mirrors?"
