August Pov

I woke up on the couch with Alicia beside me, laying her head on my chest. She looked so peaceful. I wish I could just take a journey through her mind and see why she is like she is. I need to know honestly. I just hate to see anybody that put themselves down. She can't see past whatever is making her feel this way.

To me she's flawless. She is beautiful. She's has a natural body, she has natural hair. Her personality is very gentle. She has everything these other girls lacking but can't realize it herself.

I can't say I'm in love because I barely know her but my curiosity to know if I can love and if you is even willing to love get the best of me. She's like a puzzle and I'm the one trying to figure her out. I do however wonder about how she feel about me. Obviously she's not like most girls so there is no guarantee that we could ever be anything not even friends. Ima just let her sleep and start cooking....

Alicia Pov

I woke to a sweet country smell of bacon and eggs. The sunlight hitting my face through the Windows warned me it was morning.

I sat up only to be struck by a pain in the neck. I rubbed the area getting up again. I didn't realize I was in the living room until I turned around and saw August cooking shirtless in my kitchen. That sight was so unexpected that I loss all control of my body. He had a red bandanna wrapped around his head like a sweat band. His caramel skin glistened in the sunlight which really brought out his tattoos.

I couldn't understand anything that was going through my mind but the only thing I was sure of was that I wanted him. I needed him. I yearned for his attention. If only he knew of how much I needed him. But who am I'm kidding. This is August motha fucking Alsina. He ain't looking for some washed up fat, virgin girl like me. He like the girls like Beyonce'. All men do.

I feel like it's just me against the world. Even though I got the finest man in my kitchen cooking, I feel lonely.

Ima get dress and try to cheer up. I still gotta beat Kenya ass for this bullshit but right now I want to think....
