Alicia pov
So I'm at work and my suppose to be friend/co-worker suppose to be helping but she all in some light skinned nigga face (as usual). Her name is Kenya and of course she a skinny girl. She cool to hang with but she don't know how to work hard then play hard. She always play hard and when it's time to work she play harder which really irk my nerves but I'm not the one for drama. Since I work the night sift I often see celebrities. I have seen Kevin Hart, Tyga & Kylie, Drake, Beyonce', Trey Songz, Chris Brown, Rae Sermmurd, & Weeknd. Such amazing people and I'm greatful for getting to see them. Even though I saw them I never got to serve them. Kenya was all up in the men's face and she even went home with Trey Songz. I honestly couldn't tell you why I consider her a friend but any way back to work my break is over**
"Hey Alicia here's a order for table five. They want two Martinis with lemon. You got that?"
"Ok Kenya. Two Martinies with lemon coming right up."
"Ima need you to take them their drinks. I'm on break."Kenya served me that information with a smile.
"No problem." I turned around making the order.
Once I got to table five I notice the light skin nigga Kenya was talking to and he actually turned out to be August Alsina. I tensed up. I am so fucking nervous. I never served a celeb before and for the first to be August Alsina really have me about to loose my mind. But I'm gonna try to play it cool. Lord help me play cool.
"Excuse me Sir but these are your drinks. Two Martinies with lemon and if you need anything let me know. I'm Alicia your bartender and enjoy." I held it together.
"Thank you Alicia, I really apprciate it." He smiled at me which made me melt inside.
"No problem, it's my job." I grinned but only to be interrupted by Kenya cock blocking ass.
"Hey baby I'm back." She said.
Honestly I didn't know if she was talking to me or someone else until I saw her stare into August's eyes. Them everything came to me. I figured it all out about the two Martinies and the fact she said she was going on break. Now don't I feel stupid. I pull her to the side.
"Kenya are you serious? You're really gonna make me do your work and mine and on top of that serve you while you doing this."
"Alicia don't hate ok. Look just do me this favor, how often do August Alsina come through here? Pleaseee." Her grin was ear-to-ear.
She basically begged for my help and I thought about it but she always abandoned her job and left me with it. Honestly, I don't feel like doing a damn thing for her especially not something that's going to push her agenda. But like I said I'm not the one for drama, so I guess I'll help her out this time, but I just know I'm gonna regret it.
"Alright but you owe me." I sighed.
"I got you girl, and thank you. I ma make it up to you, I promise."
She sits down in front of August, and they begin vibing, which made me jealous, but I know I wouldn't have had a chance anyway.
I went back behind the counter to service other customers. Then out of nowhere, Kenya yells out my name for me to come to them.
"What do you need, Kenya?" I asked very sweetly, even though I was pissed off. I could feel August's eyes on me. It felt like he could tell that I was mad, but I didn't pay it much attention.
"I wanted to remind you to clean the bathrooms and we would like a refill." she said that so arrogantly that I bout cussed her out but I knew she just did that to impress August, which the look on his face said otherwise. I just nodded my head and did my duties. If I didn't;t need this job to put me through school on my mama, she would've gotten the worse of me. "Breathe, Alicia. Just breathe." I whispered to myself as I walked away, clinching my fist tightly.
I'm not about to clean no damn bathroom. It was her turn anyway. I did, however, went and got them more drinks. "Here you go, your refills, and may I have those glasses?" I said shyly since Kenya had gone somewhere, and it was just August at the table when I arrived.
"Here you go, beautiful, and thanks for your hard work ma." his voice was so smooth and laid back. I tried not to blush, but my fair skin showed it anyway.
"Thank you, Sir, and enjoy." I nodded my head towards his direction getting ready to get away from him with the quickness. He makes me nervous to the point I'm uncomfortable.
"I will." he licked his lips.
Someone help me before I loose my mind.

August pov
After being hassled by my friends, I finally went to this semi-new club. Club Mad. As soon as a nigga stepped in the door, this thirsty-looking chick was in my face. I talked to her and found out her name was Kenya. Very gorgeous girl, and I like that name, but Shawty was a little annoying. She came off way too strong, and personally, I like to do the chasing, not the other way around. When she left for a while to go change, the bartender, Alicia, came and served me. She was very sweet, and meek. She showed respect and reservation. She wasn't all up in my face like Kenya. She gave me fair treatment and kept a comfortable distance. Shawty was a little thick in the waist, just like a nigga from the south love it. I don't have a problem with that. I could tell that she was wearing her natural hair, which was very long and wavy. She had it tied back loosely, a few curly strands falling by the frame of her face. What really got my attention was her eyes. They were a hazel brown color, which complemented her glow very well. She was indeed a masterpiece. I just know she got a man.
Then here came Kenya again, calling me baby which through me for the biggest loop. Babyyyy!!! I chuckled on the inside. She can not be serious, like bitch I just met you. Alicia pulled her to the side, and I respected their privacy, but I could tell that Alicia was annoyed. Ima be honest, I only agreed to let Kenya have a drink with me because I was waiting on my people and figured why not waste some time, but had I known she was going to take that as me wanting her, I would've respectfully declined. I love, love, but I ain't tryne be tied down nobody, especially her. You can smell the clout chasing on her.
I watched Alicia walk away, looking tense as Kenya sat back down...While we talked, I realized that she ain't the type of girl I would want to even watch my pet gold fish if I had any. She kept asking me roundabout questions. She was trying to ask me something without asking and that's just a straight-up red flag. She comes off as the type that'll be on some backdoor shit. Homegirl really thought I would tell her where I live and how much money I make from a show. Just comical.
After we finished our drinks, she called Alicia's fine ass back over here. When Alicia came, Kenya hit her with degrading shit, talking about cleaning the bathroom and getting another refill, which I was ready to leave, but I stayed anyway. I don't really know why. I was already fed up with big mouth over here, but I could tell Alicia was annoyed, rightfully so, but she didn't say anything; she just nodded and walked away. I didn't understand that part. Like, why did she let this girl talk to her crazy? Shit, if she ain't gonna stand up for herself, I'll do it for her. I told Kenya that what she did was wrong, and she needs to finish her job and help Alicia before I call and have her fired. She listened, but with an attitude.
When Alicia came back and noticed it was just me, she looked a little relieved. That alone made me smile. I called her beautiful because she is, and she blushed. I just feel like there's something about this girl, but I can't put my finger on it. She left my side, and I finished up Martinis and gave Alicia a 100-dollar tip and a note that said
' I really appreciated your hard work and kindness. Don't let your friend get to you because girls like her can't compete with beautiful women like you.
Stay safe luv
