A/N Pov
It has been almost a year since Alicia and August broke up. She has came back in contact with Kasia and Kenya. She sees Ra'Niq from time to time but nothing ever be said between them two. Trey and Kasia are still going strong. And to everybody's surprise August moved on. He has another sweet lady on his side. So what seems to have happened was, after Alicia left and wasn't heard from in over 11 months, August decided that he couldn't just wait for her to come back. It took time for him to move on since she was the love of his life.
August had been through hell and back over Alicia and I guess he just got fed up with it. He was at a point where he was going to kill himself but this one lady brought him from that darkened place. I can't tell who she is yet but you'll be shocked at who though. Anyway, he began to develop hate towards Alicia for leaving him in the dust. She could have at least tried to hear him out and except what he did in the past but her own worries got to her and she denied showing him the devotion he showed her.
He claims he doesn't feel the same way about Alicia anymore. Weather it's true or not, I don't know, I just write the shit. He also says that he do still think about her from time to time, wondering will they bump into each other again. Even though he still live across the street from her, he still haven't seen her, which is odd. He still claims that his once beloved dreams of her kissing him is now his worse nightmare. He can't risk falling back in love with her, his mind, body, and soul won't be able to handle it.
I know you're probably wondering where the hell is Alicia by now but all I'm gonna say is that, she's back and she isn't the same shy, innocent girl she use to be. A lot of things happened that shouldn't have happened in the last 11 months. And if you wondering what could have possibly happened, here's a hint; Irony is always the element of surprise. So tell me what do you think is their faith? Is August really over her? Of course he's not! but what if he is?? What if being cheated on makes you the cheater? That was one of your hints btw.
