We were about to enter the Nether, we weren't sure what was going to happen but we had to trust the Head Guard of Meteli, who was Laurence. I held my obsidian sword tightly in hand, my knuckles were white, I was scared like everyone else. We had no idea what was waiting for us on the other side of the portal. "Alright..... Let's go in." Instructed Laurence. Everyone else followed him through the portal. But I didn't, I was too scared to follow a simple order. "Hey Shay lets go." Said Sasha. "Alright," I sighed. I followed Sasha through the portal.

It was dark, but you could here lava and flames cracking close by. You could hear the Nether Scorpions hissing and clawing at each other. "What now?" Asked one of the other guards, who I did not know the name of. "Follow me and stay close." Instructed Laurence. So we all followed and we wandered for some time, leaving torches behind so we would know which way to head back to the portal if we needed to. "Uhhhh this is so long...." Complained Sasha. "Sasha please stop complaining." I whispered. "Oh now you say something," bellowed the man with black hair. I grip my sword tighter. "H-hey Shay no need for arguing," Sasha mentioned as she placed her hand on my sword gently. I pulled my sword away, "Fine," I hissed. She just gave me a dry smile.

Now we could see a Fortress with these interesting shadow like figures, I have never seen them before. "Look over there!" Shouted one of them, pointing at us from across a bridge made out of Nether Brick. There was sizzling lava underneath us, we couldn't make any rash decisions. "Shit." cursed Sasha. "No shit," I hissed. I stood up and bolted for the first one that I saw. They seemed to be like humans, but they weren't. They had an evil presence about them. I started my attack.

My blade ripped right through their red armor. But strangely they showed no sign of pain. "Get back here!" I heard Laurence call out to me and the other guards who started to attack. "SASHA!" I screamed. I thought she was a goner but she completely took out the person who was about to strike her. I then dashed over and pushed one of them off the bridge. I then walked to the side to see them, I mean she dangling off of the side. "Mercy...... please." She cried out, with tears running down her pale face. I couldn't just leave her there, even though she was my enemy. I grab her by the hand and yanked her up. She then grabs me by the hand and tugs me to her chest and help a knife up to my throat. But I got distracted as I watched Laurence save Sasha, I didn't know what these feeling where. I haven't felt this way in so long.... I think I was in love.

Tears started to roll down my cheeks. She then looks at me strangely. "She's the one!" Yelled my captor to the others of her group. She then pulls me up and forces me to walk away from the others, while still holding an iron knife to my throat. "NO!" Cries out Sasha was she watched me being taken captive. "LEAVE HER BE!!!" She screams as she tries to attack on of them. But it was too late. I saw my friend, Sasha get thrown over the railing of the bridge and into the merciless lava. I couldn't take it anymore, it was just too much. I didn't want to loose anyone again. "No...." I whispered with tears running down my cheeks. Everyone looked shocked and looked at me like I was at fault. I looked away, "Please no." I cried, unable to stop the tears. "YOU BASTARD!" Shouts Andrea, "I HATE YOU!" I heard echoed as was shoved into their Fortress as I watched the others retreat back to the portal. I then saw Laurence, it seemed like he didn't know what to do, lost in sorrow for Sasha's death. He looked into my eyes like I was a monster, like I was the one who killed her. It couldn't have been my fault. How could I live with that thought?
