Fireflies surrounding me. A shadow sitting next to me, their hand on my shoulder. The figure was so familiar, too familiar. Another shadow standing in front of me. "Who are you...?" My voice was so weak, so ruff. "...I'm you..." The cloaked figure responds. "Don't go!" It whispered.

Suddenly I woke up. The morning light was seeping through the windows. A blanket was sprawled on top of me. I sit up, my head pounding with pain. "You're awake." Light was reflecting off of Kiki's crimson hair. "Kiki...." My voice sounded exactly how it did, in my dream. She reaches out her hand, placing it gently on my forehead. "You're sick... You have a fever Shay." She informs me. I feel anxiety take over. "What do you mean? I have to keep my word to Lord Aphmau." I start. "No. If you try to do anything.... Your sickness would greatly worsen." Kiki snaps at me.

I slowly try to stand up. "Who's with Lord Aphmau?" I ask Kiki. "Garroth and Laurence." She responds. I shrug it off and focus.

Everything aches, from my head to the very tips of my toes. "Rest." Kiki instructs me as she gently pushes me backwards. "Alright.... But where am I...?" I ask her. "The downstairs to Cadenza's home." She answers as she stands up and heads upstairs. I force myself to my knees. Surrounding me was dazzling dresses, displayed in glass cases. All the dresses were very, finely made. Cadenza was always so talented.

I look to my right. I see her table with her sewing machine placed on top. I crawl over and place my hand on the ledge. I pull myself up with all my might. "I will stand up!" I huffed. Cold sweat dripped down my face. I feel the knees tense, I close my eyes and found myself laying on the floor. All what I saw was blurry faces of Cadenza and Kiki. In the background was a pink blob, must have been Kawaii~Chan.

A couple of hours has passed. I woke up in a bed with a dark red as the colour. "Shay!" It was Cadenza. She was now hugging me, so tightly. I place my hand on top of her head and smiled. I look over to see Emmalyn holding holding a stack of books, Dawn Chronicles. Along with Brendan talking with Kawaii~Chan and Molly holding her holding onto her son's hand. He was so young. "Cadenza... Why is everyone here....?" I ask her. She smiles at me, "Because we care." She responds. As I heard those words I felt a warm feeling in my chest. Tears started to rise, "Thank you..." I mumbled. "Shay~Shay! Kawaii~Chan brought you some of her Get Better Cookies!~" Squeaks Kawaii~Chan, she then hands me a cookie. I take it slowly, "Thank you Kawaii~Chan." I whispered as I took a bite. The cinnamon and chocolate cookie melts in my mouth. "Hey! *Cough, cough* I need one Kawaii~Chan." Says Brendan as he continues to fake sneeze and cough. Kawaii~Chan just laughs and smiles as she hands him a handful of cookies. I yawn and fall back in the bed, smiling.

After talking to everyone for awhile I close my eyes. "Shay. I brought some books." It was Emmalyn. She then places the on the nightstand. "Thank you...." I coughed as I smiled up at her. She smiles back and leans over and kisses me on the cheek. "Get better, Shay." She says as she walks away. I saw a faint blush on her face.

I close my eyes, once again. "Cadenza." I call out. "Yes?" She responds. "How long have I been unconscious....?" I croaked as I pulled the covers over my head. "About two days." She sighs. The sewing machine then starts up again. The rather familiar clicking noise. It has always sounded the same.
