Hello! Idk but I love how I wrote the first chapter! I will try my best to go with the original storyline of MCD! And also I might add in my OTPS. But it depends. And also I really don't know what happened in the Nether XD

I regained consciousness in a dark room and open my eyes to see a man with thick black hair and red eyes watching me. "It's up." His voice was a low growl. I feel others grab me by my arms and take me away.

Shorty I look-up at Gene, the first person I've learned the name of. In a sense he was an 'instructor'.

"To get things cleared, we are Shadow Knights. We only serve our Shadow Lord." Gene hissed at me as he took me by the arm. "Where are we going?" I asked him. "Somewhere, where they can't hurt you." He told me. "What do you mean?" I asked, sounding irritated now. He didn't answer. And he took me down a dark flight of stairs.

Gene took me to a dark room, it was small. But I didn't mind. "Here we are." He whispered into my ear. "Explain to me!" I snapped at him. "Ummm, right sorry." Gene said, while looking away awkwardly. "Well this is the dungeon and no one will think first to look for you down here." Gene replied. "Alright...." Then there was a loud noise that came from the floor above us. The noise shook the room. I then fell onto Gene. "Whoa." I whispered. Gene had his arms on my shoulders as my head was up propped up against his chest, armour was slowly digging into my skull and I could feel his breathe.

"GAH! Sorry." I said quickly as I jumped up. "What was that?" I asked Gene. "Not sure." He said while brushing dirt off his black pants. I backed away from him. I didn't know what he was going to do with me or what he wanted. All what I knew that he wanted, needed something from me. But in the back of my thought I knew he was trying to protect me from something absolutely terrible.

Some time has passed. It could have been hours or days.

I heard a knock on the door to my room, down in the dungeon. "Who is it?!" I hissed. The door then quietly opened, right in front of me was Sasha. Anger and a strong sense of betrayal rose up inside. "S-Sasha?" I called out, now with my eyes closed hoping Sasha wasn't real. "Shay, it's alright." She told me as she places her hand on my shoulder. "It's really you." I cried more then I wanted to. She hugs me with relief. "As long as you're alive, I'm alive." I said as I hid my face into her shoulder. "I know, you value friendship over anything." She says to me. She took places her hand on my shoulder. "Sasha...." I whispered. "Yes?" She asked me with her white hair plastered onto her face. "How are you alive?" I asked her. She the explained to me how Gene has saved her and he was 'good' and how we should serve the Shadow Lord, as we walked up the stairs and into a strange room.

"Gene!" Sasha called out. "Yea?" Gene asked, as he turned around from reading a strange book. "What am I suppose to do with her?" She asked him. "Put the armour onto her and make sure nothing happens to her." He responded. "Yes sir." Replies Sasha as she took me into a different room now. She pulls out the Shadow Knight armour. "I have to wear this?" I asked her as I pointed at the red and black armour. She nodded at me. "Go put it on to see if it fits," Sasha instructs me. I nodded and quickly grabbed the armour and went be one of those dressing room barrier thingy.

As I got the last bit one, I walked out from behind the barrier thing and saw Gene speaking with Sasha. "Heh. Could have taken you long enough." Snorted Sasha. I noticed that Gene was watching something. "What's wrong? Scorpion got your tongue," I joked. Gene looked confused. "What? Ever head of the saying, 'cat got your tongue'?" I asked him. "Yes of course I have," He snapped at me. "Yea she's a real jokester," Laughed Sasha, sounding a little bit nervous. "Yep. I am." I stated proudly. "Whatever..." Signed Gene as he crossed his arms. "Come on you have to meet the Shadow Lord now." He told me. We then both walked into the red-stone torch litted hallway. I glanced behind me to see Sasha looking even more nervous.

"Follow me Shay." Gene told me and so I followed him.

As we got a huge black door with symbols engraved onto, I've never seen them before. "Come in," said a Shadow Knight to me as they signaled me to go through the doors. As I walked in I saw a glass throne with an Essence of something dark and evil. It felt like I had power, like I could do anything. But I knew that was a lie.

Gene was standing next to me. "My Lord," Gene said as he bowed to the Shadow Lord. "Bow," Gene whispered to me. I didn't want to, but I bowed quickly and looked away from the Essence. "Is this the one?" Hissed the Shadow Lord. It's words seemed to have swept across the floor like fog on a dark scary night with wolves howling with hunger up at the moon. "Yes she, my Lord." Gene responded with a monotone voice. I could feel the Shadow Lords eyes piercing through my soul. "Small one. Tell me your name and where you come from." The Shadow Lord told me. "Yes, my Lord...... I am Shay Holt from Meteli." I stated. "Good.... I see Gene that you have tamed the Tamer." The Shadow Lord hissed. I glanced over at Gene to see a slight smile on his face. "Thank you my lord." He sighed. We both bowed and left the room.

"Shay." Started Gene. "Good job." He said with a smirk on his face. "Thanks." I said. I started to walk out of there. "I'm going to bed now." I said. "Alright see you tomorrow."

"Yea see you tomorrow." I whispered.
