I lay in bed with a burning forehead, a fever. All what I can tell you that it is no fun being sick. Especially when you can't keep your word, to Lord Aphmau. Cadenza and Zoey moved me to the spare room in my Lord's home. It's nice in here, with beautiful candlelight in the background. I could hear Levin and Zoey playing upstairs. Along with Lord Aphmau's dogs playing with one another. Oh how it made me rejoice. Being somewhere familiar, once again.
It's been about three days, from when I became and several days since Lord Aphmau, Laurence, and Garroth have left. I hope they are all safe. Each day moves by so slowly, exactly like a snail.
In my own thoughts, Raphael returns in my mind. I always wear his bandanna on my wrist, no matter what. I miss him, I miss his voice, I miss his scent of charcoal or even pine sometimes. I wish I could have spend more time with him.... I want to see him one last time.
I sit up slowly reach out for my cool glass of water. As I took a sip the water soothed my sore throat. Next I swing my feet off the bed and struggle over to the door. As I open it I see Zoey and Cadenza talking. In the corner was Emmalyn with one of her books. I sluggishly walk next to her, in the far corner. "Hey,whatcha' readin'?" I ask her. "GAH! Shay!" She shouts. I saw her swing her. The book then landed half way across the room. Zoey was now standing up with her arms crossed. "What's going on?" She asks, her voice stern. "Nothing." I replied with a hoarse voice. "Shay just scared me." Laughed Emmalyn as she gets up and grabs her book. As she does I slump onto the cold stone floors. Phoenix, one of Lord Aphmau's dogs comes up to me. She rolls around in front of me and puts her paw out. "No Phoenix. Do it when someone says to." Sighs Cadenza as she comes over. She kneels down and shows me the trick she taught to the grey coloured dog. I just smiled and nodded, not understanding.
After a while I return to my chambers. My eyelids felt so heavy. Sleep... That's all what I needed, for now.
