I could see the fishing docks from the boat I borrowed from Aphmau. I'm hoping that she doesn't need it anytime soon. It smelled like rotting fish as I sailed closer. There wasn't much, just a few crates and about two boats. I pull up the bandana, covering my face, there was a man with grey hair and a brown shirt at the docks. He seemed to be sleeping, considering that it's technically midnight.
As I pulled up, I quietly parked the boat, trying to not make a sound to wake the man. The docks cracked underneath my feet. No! Please don't wake up! Thankfully he didn't waken to the sound of the rotting wood. I then quickly tied up the boat with a simple knot and headed for the trees that were close by. Near a gap, there was a pile of old smelly, rotting fish. "For the love of Irene." I hissed as I tried my best to ignore the obnoxious odour.
Now all what I need to do was get to O'kasis. O'kasis was fairly far away, it should be a day's journey. I remember Aaron told me that as I have told him I was originally from there. I started to head to the direction of O'kasis. There wasn't much to do, but to listen to the sound of dirt crunching under my boots.
A few hours has passed. In the distance I saw a light. The light wasn't too bright but a nice and warming kind of bright. As I got closer I heard a man talking to himself, blabbering about chickens. I wondered why they were out in the middle of the woods. I finally got close enough to see, Castor the Chicken Shaman stroking one of his 'people'. "Castor?" I said, startling him. He looks up at me looking irritated. "What brings you hear, shorty?!" He snaps at me. "Uhhhh... I'm not really sure." I replied quickly. "Wait how do you know that it's me?" I ask the Chicken Shaman. "Because you're so shorty. I'm mean you're soooo, soooo, small. How could someone possibly be that short." Castor started to ramble on how short I was. Suddenly one of the chicken jumped onto his head. "HA! Thank you chicken!" I said with a smirk on my face. "Excuse me? This one actually has a name!" Castor can be so annoying at times... "Oh yea. Right! Isn't it Timberly?" I ask him. "Yes. Yes this is Timberly. I'm impressed that you would know," he said in slight amazement. "Tch... It's not like I'm that dumb." I hissed underneath my breath. "Shorty, you are quite dumb." Castor says loudly. I smile, "You haven't changed one bit Castor." I sighed, while I was walking to a small tree. I climbed up swiftly, closed my eyes and fell in a light sleep.
The sunrise woke me up the next morning. I looked down to see Castor asleep with his chickens. You could birds singing their toon off in the distance. As I climbed down I pulled out some fruits from my bag for Castor because it didn't seem like he had much food on him. After eating a small breakfast I decided to take my leave. "See ya around, Chicken Shaman." I muttered as I walked out of the small clearing. It was nice seeing someone familiar.
For sometime I walked and didn't see anything for awhile. But the tree and flowers were beautiful. It was a lovely, sunny day. It was just me, alone. Which I did like, there was no one to annoy me or mock my height. To pass time I wrote in my journal.
Last night I saw Castor. It was nice to see someone familiar and someone who hasn't change. Change is such an easy thing for me to handle, most of the time. But ever since I got back from the Nether everything seemed to change a lot. That doesn't matter right now. But thinking now it would be nice to pick up drawing again to pass time and for a hobby again.
In O'kasis I wonder what has become of mom and Zane. But I could careless about Lord Garte. Ugh, what am I saying?! I have forgiven him ages ago. All what I need to do was get to O'kasis by night fall and hopefully find mom. She might be able to help me, maybe. Or I can always go to that little hideout where Garroth, Vylad and I would go to take a break from things. But honestly I would only go for the fun of it and hangout with them. Which was always fun... I remember one time, Vylad and I drew on Garroth's face. He was so irritated. Sometimes I wonder, what happened to the good old times....?
