As I lay in bed I hear laughter and singing from upstairs. Everyone saying how happy they are for Malachi. I hear voices of Lord Aphmau, Zoey, Laurence and the children. They all sounded so rejoiced that he is human, the child deserves it and as I am happy for him.

After supper, everything calmed down upstairs and I now here, another knock on the door. "Shay! I have some food for you!" The voice belonged to Laurence, I feel relief take over, I didn't want to see anyone else. "Come in!" I respond as I pull the covers off of me and now sitting up in the bed. Laurence gently open the door and a divine smell enters the room. Pork, corn, and a strange type of dish was sprawled across the plate. My stomach rumbles with hunger. "Heh. You sound hungry." He states as he walks in and hands me the plate. I savagely grab the plate of food from Laurence. He sighs at my actions, "Make sure to eat ALL of it and make sure to take care of yourself." He demands. I look up at him and nod, my mouth was stuffed with food. He gives a rare, carefree smirk.

I did as he 'asked' of me. The pork almost burned my mouth with each bite I took. The food was the best, almost as good as father's cooking. The corn and the strange food was perfectly salted and cooked. As I took my last bite Laurence stares at me, shocked. "You were hungry." He chuckles as he takes his hand and moves my bangs out of my eyes. His eyes were filled with an ever blazing light and a loving smile stole his lips. "Uhm! Question! W-Who cooked the food?" I ask him, stuttering and blushing at the same time, yanking away from his gentle touch. He looks away with an unreadable expression on his face. "Zoey did." He says as he stood up, with now an icy tone. He always pulls himself away from me. Why? But I do that as well.

Laurence takes the plate from me and closes the door behind him. I lay back and throw the covers over my head. Tears began to rise up, running down my cheeks.

I fell asleep. Cried myself to exhaustion in other words. Don't know why, but it just simply felt good.

The morning sun sprung underneath the door. I yawn and stretch my limbs. Suddenly I feel a new type of clothe covering my skin. I look down to see myself wearing a newly sewn dress. Black fringe held onto the royal purple coloured fabric. "What the-..." I began, the door slammed open, Lord Aphmau stood there with an alert aura surrounding her. "Lord Aphmau, did something happen?" I ask her, now standing up with no shoes on my feet. "Possibly, but there is now a meeting with the Guards." She says with a strong tone, dark circles under her eyes. I nod and follow her upstairs. In the kitchen Levin and Malachi sitting at the table, decorated with food and plates. By the door stood Laurence and Zoey was busy in the kitchen. Her blonde hair swayed back and forth as she moved across the floors. And Laurence watches the table, the children. Making sure that they are safe and sound.

"Goooo mowning!" Giggles Levin as he waves at his mother. Lord Aphmau smiles and sits down at the table. Someone clears their throat, catching everyone's attention. "There will call to arms in about in an hour." Announces Laurence as he walks up next to me. "Go join them." He whispers to me. I nod and sit down with everyone. "This food... Is so GOOD!" Shouts Malachi with a huge, teethy grin. I hear, "Mama. Whath's cawlll of awms?" Asks Levin with a mouth full of food. "Nothing of importance." She responds, unease by the topic.

After a rather, late breakfast. I stand up and walk to the front door. "Where do you think you're going?" Zoey now asks me, from the table. "To find Garroth." I snap at her, not in the mood for her nonsense of endless questions. But also she was trying to look out for me. The door slammed behind me.

I walk down the path to the docks, the massive O'kasis boat still waited in the vibrant blue waters. Another guard of Phoenix Drop stand on the docks, I believe he is Brian. Dale and Molly's son, brother of Alexis. Honestly I really don't know him and the only 'proper' introduction between us was before he was sent off to the Guard Academy and from there I haven't seen much of him. And I have missed plenty of things. I need information.

"Hello." I say as I walk up behind him. He flinches, looking slightly anxious. "G-Good afternoon, Shay. Is it?" Brian asks me. "Yes. I am Shay." I respond. "I need to know of what is happening with O'kasis and Garroth." I inform him. "O'kasis, Priest Zane is planning to attack here with the Lord of Pikaro." He recalls as he places his hand on his sword. I stiffen, ready. "And for Garroth, he is sick." He continues, now his hand on his side. I glare up at him, "Thank you. And be careful. Alright?" I hiss at him. "Okay. I will." He sighs as he turns around.

Brian, I get an uneasy feeling from him. He seemed guilty in a sense when I approached him. But I can't do anything about it because he is the son of Dale and I refuse to disrespect a good man.

Next stop is the Guard Station. Garroth must be in there, hopefully.

As I made it to the door to his room, I knock on the door. "Anyone there?" I shout. "Go away." Says Garroth, a faint crack in his voice. "I heard that you are sick." I announce as I now try to open the door, it was locked. I sigh and go into my old room, opening the door as quietly. Nothing was touched or moved, everything in the exact same place, just as I remember. I go over to the windowsill and grab a small, old box and open it. Inside is a key from Emmalyn for all the doors in the Guard Tower. Hence I was the 'responsible' one.

Luckily I have this damn key and I go back to Garroth's room and insert the key into the lock. I hear a click, it's been unlocked. As I slowly opened the door, I saw clothes and random belongings of Garroth's on the floors. On the bed layed Garroth, his eyes closed and tear stains on  his cheeks. "Garroth. Garroth!" I say as I was shaking him. He awakens, he slowly sitting up in bed. ".....What?" He grumbles. An angered expression appeared on his face. "I'm worried about you." I told him. "Why?!" He snaps at me. "I heard that you are sick. But clearly you are not." I respond. I take my hand and point at his cheeks. "You were crying." I point out. Garroth places his face into his hands and lets out a long sigh. "Why must you be so 'motherly'." He snaps at me. "Excuse me?" I scoffed as I flick his forehead. "OW!" Yips Garroth as he flinches backwards. "Hehe! You had it coming!~" I snicker as I stand up. A grin comes across his face and he nods, "I suppose so." He sputters. Garroth than stands up. "Lets go to the call of arms." States Garroth as he opens the door.

We then both went downstairs to the gathering. In the call of arms was all the guards of Phoenix Drop.

We all mostly discussed about O'kasis and what we are planning to do. And still I am worried for Garroth, he seems hurt. And that's when everything ended and Garroth ran off after the gathering.

I don't know what is bothering him. All what I can hope that he is okay, he is my brother anyways.
