Harley woke up before Rose but didn't move from by her but began playing with her lips and facial features.

"Hi baby." She smiled opening her eyes

"Hi." I joked

"Boy get the fuck on." She hissed hugging Harley

Harley laughed against her chest.

"What you wanna do today baby?" Rose asked Harley

"Shopping."

"Ok baby lets get ready and I'll take you."

"Is daddy coming?"

"Nope."

I looked over at her and threw my legs over the side of the bed slipping on my shoes.

"Yes he is." Harley laughed

Rose slipped a hoodie over her head and put Harley's jacket on her swooping her up in her arms. I got up following the two out listening to Harley and Rose sing the alphabet together.

"Having fun?" I laughed walking by the pair gaining a scowl from Rose

"Bryson we still aren't cool or okay." She mumbled sliding Harley around to her back

"I'm sorry to hear that but I'm cool with you the problem is on your end." I spoke walking ahead before she could protest

Once in the car Rose strapped Harley in double checking before getting in the car.

She held her hands in her lap  looking out the window. I could tell this was all strange for her so I didn't speak about it.

"Rose you okay?" I asked

She held her hand up waving me off never looking my way. I squinted at the window catching her reflection, she was crying.

"Rose." I called firmly making her look at me with watery eyes

"I'm fine. Promise." She smiled weakly wiping her face

"How?"

"How what?"

"How did our child die?" I stated lowly

She shook her head as more years made their way to her cheeks.

"I didn't know."

"You didn't know what?"

"Stress could do so much to your body. I was-I was killing my child and didn't even know it.
I though you died or something and I would spend hours thinking about it completely missing meals and just neglecting my body mindlessly."

I knew this was my fault. I felt every ounce of guilt and deserved it.

"Sorry le-"

"Stop it. Stop saying that. It's over."

"Don't fucking say that."

"Sorry." She murmured lowly

"Let me make you happy again. Trust me."

"No. I'm not putting myself through that again. Happiness is temporary and so is your presence."
