Chapter 33: Little Queen, Little Princess

JESSY'S POV:

Free day ngayon kaya I decided to buy some clothes at the mall. Chill chill na din! I asked my mom to drop me by sa Glorietta since she's going to her amiga's house naman somewhere in Makati today. Bahala na mamayang pag-uwi, baka mag-cab na lang ako. Di ko pa nga alam kung didiretcho na ba ako sa condo or sa bahay na lang muna, eh.

Nag-plain white tee + maong shorts + flats na lang ako to be comfy. Tsaka para mas madali magsukat ng damit haha. By 2:30 pm, dumating na din kami sa Glorietta 4. I kissed my mum byebye then I said na itetext ko na lang siya later, tapos she went off na.

Nag-ikot ikot na ako sa mga boutiques hoping to see something that'll suffice my wants. Labas pasok ako sa shops, but still, wala pa din. Pumunta na muna ako sa Landmark, baka dun may makita ako. Kaso, wala padin. So, ikot ikot ulit, then I went inside Mango and bought a Combi Dress and a Studded Quilted Shorts. After that, I decided to go to Glorietta 5 na to look for some more to buy and to eat. 

I went inside Uniqlo and naghanap ako ng magagandang bilhin. And as I was checking out the clothes on almost every rack, there's this one guy na lumapit sakin.

"Uhm, Jessy? Uh.... Hi!!" sabi nya.

When I checked out the face of this person, na-bwisit agad ako. UGH. Of all the people na makikita ko dito sa Glorietta, why him??? Out of annoyance, I replied coldly, "Hi."

"Uhm, are you uhm, uh, Are you alone?" he asked. "Yes, I am." I answered.

"Would you mind if I invite you to grab some coffee or tea?" makulit 'to ah. Can't he realize that I'm talking COLDLY towards him?? Which, of course, means that I DON'T WANT TO TALK TO HIMMMM??

"Uh, no,"  I replied. "Now if you'll excuse me, I still need to buy some clothes. Thanks."

"Why are you shopping alone? Where's your boyfriend?" he asked. I was taken aback with that question. Wow.

"Jeric and I broke up a few weeks ago."

"Oh. I'm sorry, i didn't know that." he said.

"Of course you wouldn't know anything about me. You don't even care anymore. As if I wasn't your bestfriend for a long period of time already." i said.

"I'm sorry, Jessy. You're still my bestfriend and you should know that."

"You left me hanging for a year. No messages,emails, facebook chats, tweets, or anything else! So, sa tingin mo ba, iniisip ko padin na BEST FRIEND mo ko? You weren't even there when I needed you the most. I was there for you when you needed someone to talk to, Juami. I hate you, and you should know that, as well!" I said, frantically. Well, I was mad eh! Who wouldn't be?!

"Now, how will i suppose to explain everything to you if you won't even let me take you out on a Coffee break or something? Jessy, lahat yon... lahat yon, may reason kung bakit nangyare. I wouldn't do all those things for nothing." he answered.

"I can't talk to you. I'm ending this conversation now, and I really need to go. Stay away from me, Juami. Thanks." I said, then I walked out of the store. It was kind of embarassing to have a convo with few people staring at you as if they were watching a movie entitled "Heartbreak" or "Reasons" or something!!! Ugh. He annoys me. Nakakainis!

I called my Tita Mary and asked permission if I could stay in her room sa may Intercon(tinental Hotel, Makati) while I wait for my driver to pick me up and drop me off to my condo, and she said yes. Now, I shall explain everything Juami and I had as "bestfriends".

He's Juan Miguel Tiongson. A really great, great guy.

Our moms are friends since their college days and so, we became friends na din while growing up. Kuya Cee and Juam were the best of buddies when we were little, lalo na pagdating sa basketball. Pero alam niyo ba, there were times when Juami agreed to play "tea party" with me? Hahaha. Cute diba? I was his little queen daw kaya he'll let me do everything to him. :))

There was this one time pa nga when I cried kasi my girl bestfriend had to leave our house early so wala na akong kalaro sa Princess-Princess-san namin, then Juami heard me from our gameroom (he was playing the playstation with Ahia) tapos sabi nya, "Ako na lang kalaro mo, okay lang ba? Tahan na." 

I stopped crying and we played lutu-lutuan nalang instead of the other game. He's such a great kid! Lagi nya din akong tinutulungan with my homeworks when they come over to our house. Madalas kasi sya iwan ni Tita sa amin para maglaro sila ni Ahia ng videogames whenever may free time for him.

Until highschool, bestfriend ko pa din yan! Solid yun. Kapag may mga love problems kami, nagsasabihan talaga kami. Lahat alam namin tungkol sa isa't isa. He even took me to prom! Ang funny kaya nya nun, nagsa-stutter sya when he was asking me about the prom hahaha! I still remember that!!

Juami: Uhm....Uh..Jes, i ....uh.....well uhm...will you ....uh......

Me: Uh, what, Juam??

Juami: Uhm well, uhh....will you go to the...uh...prom with uhm.....m-m-me? Well, it's okay if you say no, but it'll mean a lot if you say yes!! Oops.

Me: HAHAHAHA oh my gosh Juam, you just have to ask me right away and I'd say yes naman eh! Why were you stuttering? I'm not gonna reject you, duuhh. You're my bestfriend, and I'd really love to go to the prom with you!

Juami: (his face literally lightened up) Really, Jes?? Wow! Thanks!! I never thought it'll be this easy hehe. See you on Friday night, then!

Me: Sure sure! You have to shop with me kasi your tie needs to match with my dress. 

Juami: Okay! No prob, Little Princess!

Me: Little Queen dati, tapos Little Princess na ngayon? Why na-dethrone??? hahhaha

Juami: 'Coz a Princess is much cuter than a Queen haha! Besides, you're still a teenager, so, let's just match your nickname to your age!

See? He was as cute as a gumball before haha! And yes, I really went to the prom with him. My dress was a purple one so he had his tie in purple, as well!

Never did we become surprised when Juam became a part of the Ateneo Blue Eaglets, though. We always knew that he's got a big heart and passion nya na talaga yung paglalaro ng basketball. Sobrang proud na proud kmi sa kanya sa lahat ng achievements nya sa buhay. Lalo na nung pagdating ng college eh naging part din sya ng Ateneo Blue Eagles.

When we became college students, mas naging solid yung friendship namin (ewan ko kung anong nangyare). We had our first relationships by that time. Then, naging sila ni Jill Tempongko and recently lang sila nag-break. Close kami ni Jill. Napakabait nyang tao and she's soooo close to perfection! Pretty and kind! I love that girl! Ayun nga lang, nag-break sila ni Juami at kay Jill ko lang nalaman. Dati rati, si Juami mismo nagsasabi sakin, pero ngayon, di na.

Naging kami nga ni Fort ng hindi nya alam, eh. Pano, di na nya ako kinausap. Nag-break na kami't lahat, tsaka palang sya nagpakita ulit. Tss.

Alam ko na mga gusto niyong itanong dyan. Oh well, lemme answer them.

Nagustuhan ko ba si Juami? Yes. Who wouldn't?

Dumating ba yung point na hindi na bestfriend yung turing ko saknya kasi mahal ko na sya? Yes. Di maiiwasan yan sa mag-bestfriend, but eventually, natigil naman.

Nangligaw ba sya sakin? Uhm, i really don't know. Kinda???

Nagconfess ba sya ng feelings sakin? Kinda? hehe.

Pero syempre matagal na yang mga yan. We had our serious relationships already, so u can say na hanggang mag- bestfriends lang talaga kami. :)
