The sun was setting over the tips of the mountains, casting a pink glow over the water and sending the world into a orange tint. The beech forest waved at us as we stepped out onto the deck. Unlike my house this one was made from all new materials. It was refreshing but a small piece at the back of my mind screamed it was wasteful. Never take anything for granted.

Ignoring the voices in my mind I turned my attention to Andrew who had already started eating Jane's mouth watering meal. Looking down at my plate I feel a pang of sadness, I haven't had a meal like this for a while now.

"Why are you just looking at your food?" Andrew questions, "don't you want it?" A look mixed with curiosity and concern crossed his face.

I shook my head, "no, no it looks amazing. I'm just thinking," I say the last part slowly.

He looks up at me with a serious expression, "do you watch Teenage mutant ninja turtle?"

I laugh and his question, this kid has his proities straight, he asks the right questions. "I used to when I was younger."

"Who's your favorite?" He asked with his eyes wide.

I think for a while, "I'd have to say Leonardo." I pause then ask, "what's yours?"

He doesn't hesitate to answer, "Michelangelo!"

I laugh at his response before a serious expression covers my face, "you know what we should do?"

He looks at me also serious, "what?"

"We should have nick names for each other," I say looking up from my food.

He grins, "only if we can have teenage mutant ninja turtle movie marathon and watch all the movies."

I leap up, losing my knife and fork to the ground in the process. "Deal, Mike." I exclaim as I shake his hand.

He smiles, "deal Lee."

I pick up my knife and fork and finish eating, I haven't eaten all day now that I think about it. I'm smiling now, thinking about our future movie night.

Mason comes out and takes one look at my face and narrows his eyes at us. "What are you guys planing?"

I look at Mike and then back to Mason, "nothing," I reply innocently.

Mason shakes his head, "something tells me your lying to me Beautiful."

I bat my eye lashes and pretend to be innocent, "I'm just an innocent little girl I don't even know what that word means."

He looks over at Andrew who is currently trying to have a passive face. Andrew leans towards me and whispers, "should we tell him Lee?"

"Who's Lee?" Mason asks looking between us.

I look at Andrew and he nods, "that's me." I reply smirking, I'm a poet and I don't even know it.

"I'm Mike," Andrew says excitedly.

Mason acts hurt, "I'm gone for a few minutes and you guys already give each other nick names."

"Hey, you've already given me a nick name," I point out with a smile. As much as I hate to admit it I like the nickname.

"Yeah, but I don't have one," he pouts looking at me and Mike.

I shake my head, "I'm not giving you one."

"Why?" He asks frowning.

"You don't deserve one," I say grinning.

Before he can reply I quickly get up and grab my empty plate, practically scraped clean and bring it into the kitchen. I rinse my dishes and place them in the dish washer and make my way into the lounge. I sit down between Sam and Hunter. "Hello," I say as I make myself at home (there's no point being awkward, that just makes everyone uncomfortable) and grab small blue and green pillow from behind me to hug.
