Heads turn as I step off Liam's bike, I put on a small smile as I gather myself to walk into this party. A faint smirk slips onto my face, I plan to have fun. Liam links his arm through mine as we make our way towards the stunning modern house. The lake front home's many windows are alluminated with different colours of light. The bass of music can be felt through the vibrations of the ground.
As we get closer the music becomes almost deafening, only to intensify when Liam swings open the door and leads us through. The heavy stench of alcohol overpowers the slight aroma of pot. I sweep my eyes across the normally pristine open planned home, replaced my a bustling hoard of drunken teenagers and young adults. A makeshift dance floor stretches across the area where the dining once stood, the large table replaced with people grinding and moving to the flow of the music.
I slip my arm out of Liam's and shout into his ear, "I'm going to find the alcohol, you want anything?"
He shakes his head, "no, I'm going to go find Dan."
I pale slightly at the mention of his name, our last encounter none to pleasurable. I nod and smile at Liam as I make my way towards the kitchen. As I walk into the kitchen a tall, handsome man leaning against the bench throws me a flurtious smile. I give him a smile in return as I adjust my hair so it wraps back around my shoulders.
I pull open the fridge, a smile adorning my face as my eyes survey the different types of alcohol that stock the fridge. The tall guy moves to stand behind me, his deep voice filtering into my ears. "Looking for anything in particular?"
I stand up and turn around my green eyes locking with his hazel ones, "what ever will get me wasted the quickest."
He chuckles as he moves past me and selects a bottle of clear liquid, "rough day?"
I shrug, "something like that."
He grins, "here let me get you something." He leans down into the fridge and comes up with a bottle of clear liquid. Pouring some into two red plastic cups.
He passes one to me and I smile, "thanks." I take a large mouthful and swallow the fiery liquor that gives my throat the dull burning sensation that I love. In a few seconds my cup is empty as I hand it back to the kind man, my vision wavers as the vodka goes to my head. I smirk, "you're gonna have to try harder than that."
He chuckles and just hands me the whole bottle, "by the end of this you should be feeling better."
I laugh and nod my head, "thanks, but I think I should go find my friends." He frowns a little so I offer, "you can come with me if you want?" He smirks and follows me out into the thick masses of people. The cup I consumed before starts to show and I grin into my new found confidence as I grap his hand and lead him past the grinding bodies. When I come out the other side into somewhat of a clearing I take a swig of the bottle and look around. I sigh, "I can't see them anywhere."
Still gripping my hand he moves to stand behind me, his other hand moves to wrap around my hips as he sways us to the music. He sighs, "we could always dance."
I take another long swig of the fiery liquid then turning around I break out of his hold. I move freely to the music on my own as his eyes hungerly follow my movements. "What's your name?" I ask over the load music.
The flashing lights of the party blend together as the music slows down slightly as he replies. His voice is both a whisper and a yell, "Bruce." He then twirls me around as the room sways with me.
I laugh, "whatever else you put in this drink, I like it." I move my hand across my eyes and around my body, watching in awe as it ripples like a wave. "I'm Belle," I turn my eyes to his hazel ones. I can see my reflection in his dark pupils and damn do I look hot.
